Pros:
Pros that come to mind:
- Great course equipment. Crosslap always does a good job with their tee signs and baskets and navigation is usually not a problem.
- Unique landscape. A few of the holes play through a cherry orchard while the others play in a very wooded area that has some steep greens and tough technical holes that require accurate approaches.
- Nice variety of shots. Crosslap usually does a good job optimizing the land and designing fair courses that are neutral towards left vs. right handed players.
Cons:
The biggest con that this course has is that it's completely overgrown. When I played (and took pictures), the 6 and 7 holes were completely overgrown and basically unplayable.
The holes are generally very short and you will really only need a driver for one, maybe two, holes. Then again, deuces here are still pretty tricky due to the trees, slanted greens, and plants.
Other Thoughts:
While it's not my favorite course ever, it's one of the few courses in the area, and with better care and cutting of weeds and grass and stuff, it could be a pretty solid 9-holer.
Outside of the review, course pictures, information, and location is up-to-date as of the time of this review. Enjoy!
