Pros:
-This is a beginner friendly type of course that will ideally introduce the game to the students on campus.
-Quality baskets & tee signs.
-Nothing drastic, but there is some elevation on about half of the holes.
-Water comes into play on #6 and #10.
-#4 would be the "signature hole" here. It's a nice downhill shot to the basket with some trees in play and the soccer field on the left side of the fairway.
Cons:
-Natural tee pads.
-Long walks between 6--7 and at the end of 12 back to hole 1.
-Only 1 hole over 300'....#11.
-#1, #3, #8 and #11 all cross over walking paths/roads and could be a safety concern.
Other Thoughts:
-Beginner/recreational level friendly.
-This is a nice, short course that is easily accessible from 94/41 if you are in the area, but certainly not a road trip "destination" type of course.
With better teepads, I would bump up my rating to 2.5 or 3.
