Pros:
Well laid out, brand new baskets with the arrow to point to the next tee. Also use trails are easy to follow from basket to tee. Through a pine forest so a lot of trees. But the holes are not super long, so a good beginner course. Tee Pads are signed, with maps and distances, but did not see the "letter dial" that tells you which basket it is. You just have to look and determine by the distance you throw. Crisp, clean Mountain air. Had a great time.
Cons:
Nothing really. I guess if you're a pro, you'd find it pretty easy, but fun nonetheless. And the par 5 I could not see the basket and got my only double bogey.
Other Thoughts:
Nice cooperative effort between the USFS (Land), Mammoth Lakes (Baskets, pads) and the designers.
