Pros:

Nice course. Pro and armature tees. There is plenty of variety. Hole 1 is a nice warm up hole with an upwards elevation. Hole 5 is my favorite on this course.

Cons:

The signs have been vandalized. It's too bad some people don't know how to clean up after themselves. When my 10 year old daughter went to pick up her disk, she cut herself on a broken beer bottle. We went in early April and many of the holes were buried in mud.

Other Thoughts:

This is a nice short course. We can play it in about 2 hours. We usually skip hole 2 due to the giant water hazard. So far, the times we have went, it hasn't been crowded.

Pros:

Hole Variety/Course Layout--
Good balance of hole variety for 9 holes. Its has wooded holes that will be giving "big arms" bogeys, but it also has a couple bomber throws over water that will have a "tech" player throwing from the am tees. A few holes with decent elevation too.

Cons:

Course Maintenance--
You can tell there was a good amount of effort put in this course when it was first built. The signs are very descriptive and the bag holders on them are nice. Unfortunately though since the opening of the park there has been some vandalism, theres a couple signs missing and a few "next tee" signs pulled out of the ground. Also, concrete tee pads would be nice.

--9 Holes

Other Thoughts:

Course Atmosphere--
Its in an average suburban park. Besides the dg course, the park has baseball fields, soccer fields, bball courts, and a skate park (none of these get in the way of the course).

Hazards--
The 2 main hazards are the water on the signature holes. // Hole #2 pro tee is a ridiculous throw over a lake! The length isnt listed but its probably around 400 ft. from the tee to the edge of the green. Also about 30 ft. behind the basket is a swamp, so dont over throw it either! // Hole #8 pro tee is another cool throw over a lake, its about 300 ft. and its elevated like hole #2. // Theres some hidden water behind basket #3 too.

Course Navigation--
Not the best but not the worst. We didnt use a map and found every hole pretty good. The map on this website is very helpful and I would recommend using it.

--For being mud/wet season this course wasn't very muddy, and there was barley any standing water on the fairways.

Hello? Anyone out there? 2+ years

Pros:

- Chainstar baskets
- 8 of 9 tee signs intact and nice
- Has map online and at msg. board
- Dual tees
- Water hazards (lots)
- Good basic design on several holes

Cons:

- Unmaintained, appears like no one else has played it in years and the city forget it's there. Fallen trees block several fairways and overgrown rough makes it tough to throw let alone have fun.
- You will get cut if you go off fairway on #5.
- Dirt tees only

Pros:

I play this course all the time and usually I'm the only one there, never busy or backed up,great for practice,Discraft baskets,2 holes tee off over water #2 has a big elevation, generally it is well maintained with mowed fairways, good variety of open and tight fairways, nice park,

Cons:

Course is tough to navigate on your first time through, long walk from hole #1 to #2,hole 9 fairway is very tight through the trees almost no line, natural tees,9 holes, hole 2 tees off from a parking lot and there is a pile of parking blocks in the way as of 08,

Other Thoughts:

Park closes at dusk, bring bug spray,if you overthrow hole #2 or #3 there is water behind the tree line that you can't see from the tees, when cass is backed up this course is worth checking out,

Pros:

There was only one other group playing when played... & thank god 'cause I never would have found the first hole. lol. Can be very challenging. Tight woods & water hazards as well as some open fairway. You can rent disc's at the ice arena for $1 & a $10 deposit.

Cons:

Can be real hard to navigate. No jokes there. The tee's are just a blue (pro) or yellow (am) 2x4. Buggy; bring bug spray. Don't throw your favorite disc over the water holes (I lost mine & I'm not the first). a lot of the holes are real short. Last basket is missing; just a bunch of caution tape.

Other Thoughts:

If you're looking to switch it up a bit and looking for a challenge; come here. It's short but worth trying out.

a mix of woods and water hazards. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 4, 2008 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

diverse course with both open and narrow shots. free to play, rental discs available. not a busy course, third choice if cass is full. hole 2 and 8 are shots across big lakes.

Cons:

some holes are in a river bed which is flooded + buggy in spring. confusing or non existent directions to some holes due to vandals.

Other Thoughts:

next to nice skate park / ice arena and busy baseball diamonds. rarely any spectators or human obstacles. the walk from hole 1 to hole 2 is interesting (look at the course map). go from the basket on 1 (next to skate park) west on the sidewalk (you wont be able to cross the river), then walk to the corner of the parking lot, there is a tee square for your shot across the lake to #2.
