Pros:
Echoing several of the reviews here, this course has the potential to be an absolute gem of a course. At the moment, it is more a diamond in the rough, as the course plays incredibly well and isn't heavily-trafficked but hasn't received a large amount of investment into the quality-of-life improvements that would take it up a notch.

-Good variety of holes with mandatory gaps, long bomber Par-4s, up- and down-hill shots.
-Brewery on-site, with the outdoor deck overlooking the course
-Stellar use of terrain, as the old golf course provides some sweeping shots around the grounds

Other Thoughts:
Overall: A solid 4 star course that has the potential be 5. A longer, more open counterpart to some of the woodsier courses in the Battle Creek area, and one that could easily be a destination course with a little more investment put in. Highly recommended.

Pros:
This course has the potential to be a 4.5 or a 5. It has a ton of great things going for it, and it's well worth a trip to play. Truthfully, I'd love to see this on the Pro Tour. This course, I believe, has changed names. Territorial Brewing Company now owns the property.
PROS:
-Great course layout. Every hole is different. Every hole has good challenge. Distance, speed control, water hazards, the list goes on.
-You're rewarded for staying in the fairway, and punished for going off it. Most holes have thick rough or drop offs to deal with.
-Great use of water hazards/elevation. The course has some really fun holes that force you to land a shot in the right place. Holes 10 and 18 end near the start surrounded by a creek that moves pretty slowly. You don't have to worry about losing a disc in their most of the time, but it's clear OB.
-Hole 12 may be the best/most beautiful disc golf hole I've ever played. It's gorgeous.It's long. It's tough. It's fair. It's fun.
-This course allows A LOT of room for creativity, in a good way. Every hole has a clear obstacle, like a big tree to miss or a tunnel to stay in, but, the player is going to have choices off the tee on almost every hole. -No tee pads. Just a set space to throw from. I've heard the land owners are still playing with the layout, so it's possible tee pads could be planned.

This course has the potential to be GREAT for a pro tournament. The brewery deck looks over holes 1, 10 and 18. 10 and 18 play down to the deck.
HOLE BREAKDOWN: *I played the long tees. Short tees are an option for most holes.
1- Plays slightly uphill and to the right of the tee pad. You throw over a creek and need to hit a good size gap to avoid having your disc fall down into it. I think a Right hand back hand (RHBH) turnover fits the shape best, but a right hand forehand (RHFH) could work. There's also a wide RHFH hyzer out to the left. This needs a lot of power to clear the trees and get to the basket.
2- Long, straight shot. The tee is on the left of the open fairway. The basket is on the right. The fairway is lined with deep rough on both sides. The right side rough drops down to a creek. It's jail in there.
3- Short uphill shot. The mistake to make is to fade right. The hill drops off to that side.
4- Slightyly downhill shot. There are a few trees in the middle of the fairway that make you pick your shot off the tee. Hyzer is open to either side, or you can go up the middle. The basket is on a slight hill side. It makes a good backstop but can challenge your putt if you're not close.
5- Straight shot with thick rough along the right side of the fairway. The basket is in the middle of a shelf that surrounds the basket about 30-45 feet around three sides. This could be a great island shot in a tournament.
6-Very downhill shot. Not much danger here. You could hit a few trees of the tree if you're not careful. Mostly straight flight path with a little fade left at the end.
7-One of the tougher shots to park. It's uphill, and the pad is uneven, making the shot harder. There's a large tree about 250-300 in front of you at the top of the hill. Go left of it. From there your'e on flat ground. You need to go another 100 to 150 to get to the basket. It's under/around some tree branches, so you may need to keep your putt low.
8- This is a mostly open shot. You need to finish slightly left of the tee.The basket is behing/between trees far down the fairway. You need to throw a shot that hyzers at the end between those trees. Either a forehand or backhand could work.
9-This shot goes uphill. It's near and very similar to hole 3, but this hole is longer and the mistake is to fade too far left. The hill drops off that way.
10- Very downhill shot. You need to hit a gap off the tee. Then, the hole is about speed control. There's a creek a decent distance behind the basket, but if you don't get far enough off the tee, your upshot is tough. Going downhill, you can easily drift too far.
11- Mostly flat ground shot. There's a tight gap to hit off the tee. I believe it's a mando. Once you hit it, there's not much else in your way, just get far enough.
12-This hole is beautiful. It's all of at least 700 feet. You go downhill around 350 feet. There's a large pond that runs along the right side of the hole. The wind seems to swirl here. I've seen long throwers turn overstable discs into the water. The danger is to turn or fade right. Long distance throwers have a handful of options off the tee. Average players will want to throw a shot that fades slightly left and get as much off the tee as possible. The basket is near a slight hill. If you approach it from the right, you'll have to get just over that hill. This hole alone is worth a trip.
13-Downhill shot. The pond from hole 11 is still on your right. This hole is much shorter than 12. Just avoid the pond.
14- Is a pro level par 4. It's significantly uphill the entire way. Throw about 300 feet to get to the first shelf for flat ground. From there, you have to hit a tunnel shot between rough on the left and a large tree on the right. The basket is far past that gap, probably another 150 feet.
15- is a blind, slightly uphill shot. The basket is tucked in multiple trees. No major branches to deal with, just don't hit a tree trunk off the tee. The basket is more uphill than you'll expect off the tee.
16- Another long shot with the fairway sloping down from left to right. The same pond runs along the right side of the hole, but it's harder to reach than on previous holes. Speed control matters close to the basket.
17-There are two tree on both sides of the fairway to throw between. I believe you can take a wide hyzer as well if you prefer.
18- Downhill shot that needs to finish left. The basket is in a peninsula that's surrounded by a creek. It makes for tricky upshots and danger if you can throw 370+. You're right in view of the brewery's deck.

Pros:
I like hilly courses and this course has the perfect amount of hills for me. Elevation comes in to play on pretty much every hole whether it's uphill or down hill throws, or dropoffs lining the fairways. The course is also very well maintained since is it a ball golf course. It is challenging yet fair. There are nice tee signs with maps, just paper on a pole though, so a couple were missing.
Cons:
There are no tee pads, but the course is new so I imagine they might be added eventually. The course is also shared with a ball golf course. Most holes run along the outside of the ball golf holes but there is some overlap. Since it's a new course without worn footpaths navigation isn't the best. But it's not too hard to find where you are going.
Other Thoughts:
Overall I loved this course and I'm very excited to play it in the summer. It has a TON of potential to be one of, if not the best course in the Battle Creek area, which is saying alot because there are a ton of great courses around there. I have never played a course on a ball golf course before, so I am unsure about how significant the negative effect of sharing the course will be in the warmer months.

Pros:
Nice and well maintained because it is on a ball golf course.
Golf carts available.
Open fairways mixed with some accuracy shots through some trees. No holes that go through the forest though.
Baskets were very nice, new and could easily catch a disc. Didn't know what they were specifically called though.

Cons:
On a ball golf course. Fairways cross each other, whether it's ball golf over disc golf, or even disc golf over disc golf.
The day we went was the inaugural open that was supposed to have brewery sponsors throughout the course offering samples which costs tickets we got at the beginning. But we didn't learn until we saw the only stand on the course that other volunteers fell through and there was no beer we could get other than at the clubhouse.
Signage wasn't the greatest. There was a block of wood in the ground pointing at the next tee. Which did the job, but was very easy to over look. Also, the hole descriptions at each tee was just a laminated print out that was fading or getting moldy. I could see these becoming fixed or better very soon though.
