Pros:
- Map available online
- Fairly well marked Tees using stacked rocks and pavers as toe boards.
- Fairly easy to follow course layout.
- Well defined targets(PVC Pipes), and a mix of baskets
- Scenic Jetover River surroundings
- Layout loops after 9 and 18.
- Good variety on hole lengths
Cons:
- no Info kiosk, or posted map at course. If you weren't there to play the course you likely wouldn't know it was there.
Other Thoughts:
Came to this course after playing Queenstown Gardens and wasn't expecting much since it was a object course. We were pleasantly surprised. The course was well designed and had good definition and markings. Most if not all tees were marked with stacks of stones and toe line pavers, and I think a little number sign. This made the course really easy to follow. The course is a mix of baskets and objects (mostly PVC Pipes) and I believe they had markings for basket height to hit between. There was one tree object. The course loops back to the start after 9 and 18 which is nice. Though when you pull up if you weren't looking for the course you probably would over look it as there is no kiosk or signage say it's there. The course is in a nice flat area next to the Jetover River with nice view of the river and the mountains around it. We were able to catch a couple of the jet boats doing tricks in the river.
