Pros:
I happened to arrive on a work day, and everyone was as friendly and helpful as can be.
Cons:
Single, natural tee; single basket position.
Other Thoughts:
Course is set in a large public park in the midst of Youngstown. The course is almost dead flat, and contains a plethora of very tall trees scattered about the park - trunks, rather than branches, are what players will need to avoid on this course.
The signs for the white (and currently, only) tees were being installed the day I played. Holes were quite long for my typical-max ~300' throws, but only a few trees, as opposed to a defined fairway, need to be avoided early/mid-flight. Approach shots, 50'~150' for me, proved more challenging, as the trees would come into play more frequently.
Interesting hole include basket-1, set in a triangle formed by nearby ob-walking paths, and tee-to-basket #6 offered both a right or left, but not dead straight, option.
There are future plans for the tees to be concrete, and for both red, and possibly blue, tees to be added. However, I am rating this course as it was the day (9/22/17) I played it, not as I imagine it will become, with all the improvements planned by a dedicated crew.
