Pros:

This course is set on a public park with the first three holes and the last hole on an open area and the middle five holes in the woods. As a result of this, it offers a few tight fairway shots (4-8) and a few open holes where you can just throw a big hyzer and be okay (1,2,3). For the last hole (#9 and 100 meters), there's a tree to the right that blocks the hyzer route so you're forced to come from the left.

The first basket is an INNOVA and the last eight are Crosslap and they are in awesome condition and all catch great.

The grass on the open holes is mowed regularly. Water drains very quickly after rain.

Definitely room for expansion. I would love it if the city would expand this course to at least 12 holes. There's definitely still room in the woods for at least 2-3 more holes. Since the course currently only takes up about 1/3 of the park, it may not be impossible for 18 holes to fit here.

Cons:

The city has said that they won't mow the wooded holes, so the plants are slightly problematic.

The tees are very basic. They only have hole number, distance, and an arrow to indicate direction. They may be a little tricky to find for first time players.

There's no breath-taking signature hole here. The holes are all fun, but there's no real "wow" hole.

Other Thoughts:

I studied in Ulm for one year (2011-2012) and it was my dream to get a disc golf course installed there. Persuading the city to get this course installed (with the great help of Martin Fohlert) is simultaneously one of my greatest accomplishments and also one of my biggest dreams come true. While it's definitely not the best course in the world (or even Germany), to me it carries a lot of emotional weight because I put so much time and energy into pursuing it. Playing here for the first time was such an incredible experience because all of the work we did materialized and we got the course open to the public. I was so happy and surprised how many people I saw playing here. I never thought I would receive as much support and help as I did. Thanks to everyone involved!! Have fun!
