The first couple holes were short but fun with some trees and buildings to avoid.

Hard to find the next tee, but atleast they were numbered. The tees for the back nine being mixed in with the front 9 made it confusing. Some of the later holes were very long and basically just crisscrossed back and forth across a big open field.

It's great that the church took the initiative to set up a course and make it open to anyone. There aren't any other options in that vicinity so very glad it was available.

There was never any pressure of being rushed. It is an open course with its perimeters surounded by pine trees.n Openness allows for almost any form of shot. The start of the course is easy found - maked by the large church sign which says, "start here."

Grass at the time was very long, making it harder to find discs. The cousre doubles itself; it is just a nine hole course with the back nine using the same pins, just different tees. There was no directions after the first hole, so finding the next was sometimes difficult, especially on the second nine. Two holes were made when the pine trees were small. Since then they have matured and make for nearly impossible shots. Some of the tee off boxes were also hard to find. Holes one and seven also run parallel to highway, which is a potentialy dangurous hazard.

Overall, the course uses its surroundings well. It makes use of the trees in a unigue way. The church and a baseball backstop also can come into play. This course would be much impoved if it moved some of the pins (1 and 5) and the grass was better kept.

Distance shots. Very unique pin placement. Spread out design gives plenty of freedom to plan and execute shots on the strange holes.

Loss of direction. Targets seem to be from early era of disc golf. Long grass makes disc a pain to locate and there is no sense of out of bounds. Hazards are dangerous. Listed as 9 hole but is actually 18. Back 9 is pointless however because it recycles previous targets.

When you pull the first thing you see is a large church marquee with the phrase "Disc Golf hole 1 start here". The tee is marked by the sign for the church!! This is such a unique course because in the line of play are 1. Church roof. 2. parking lot....all of it. 3. baseball backstop. 4. U.S highway...and best of all. 5. An abandoned amusement park.
