I picked up a Prodigy F7 173g Gray 400G :)

- It is the most understable Fairway driver. As of now it is, F1, F2, F3, F7...not sure if there's gonna be a 4,5,6. But I don't feel there would be much room for those.

The F7 Threw very smoothly. It feels good in the hand, low profile rim, easy to grip. With about 80% power it goes smoothly, perfectly straight, maybe moves off to the right a little bit (RHBH) but comes back in the end. A very good Finesse shot type disc. When thrown 100% It moves right but not crazy understable, very controllable. It did come back at the end with a little fade. If given the chance it can be a very far flying disc. With a hyzer release of lets say, 30*degrees (so tipped down but not super far tilt) It will go straight, lift up and glide on a line for a while then hyzer out and finish nicely. It did tend to skip a little bit as the disc is a very smooth low profile.

I played a pretty wooded course with elevation and tight fairways and some distance. I wanted to get a smooth finesse fairway driver that could manage this course. Mostly you are playing for a placement or such where throwing a Nuke would likely give you some hassle in the thick woods. KAPOSIA StPaul, MN.

This disc was everything I hoped it would be. Had some really nice shots with it. Honestly if somebody said it was an F4 I'd believe it. In comparison I throw M2, M4, and the M4 is smoothly understable. So similar but in a Fairway form.

I give this disc 2 thumbs up :thmbup:

If you are looking for an understable-straight fairway driver this is a nice one. 400G is my favorite plastic. All but my M2 are 400g...good grip.

Comparable to a Leopard, but the Leopard for me is not as nice of flight. But yes, similar, I do prefer the F7. SO, fyi, this is a great disc for beginners BUT a great one to have for a serious player.

Pretty soon here I wanna do an in the bag video to show what I am going with lately. I feel it's pretty damn solid for what I need. Still have a bunch of leftover discs I need to sell haha. ;)

CONCLUSION
Nice smooth understable fairway disc capable of cutting nice (s-shape) flight patterns for finesse shots, anhyzer shots 200-325ft and longer straight shots.

I liked mine too, flies like a star leopard after getting broken in. The plastic feels great too. Got some throws with mine in the sig.

If I had to rate this in Innova style I'd give it 7/5/-3/1 Something like that sounds right to me. Discraft rating I'd say -0.5 like a Meteor or Glide. Faster than a Glide, More Fade than either of them.

bump** just for fun. I wanted to get more people's take on this disc. Like I said: I only played 1 round. Though that round was 34 holes and a nice shapely wooded course.

My local ship didn't have any or I would have bought one...of each F
I did get a D1 and 2 and an M4

Just got mine on Sunday and only got to do some field work. We had 15-20 mph winds but it didn't turn and burn like I expected. Only about 20 throws but I like it!! It will hopefully fill a spot in my bag for some of the tight, heavily wooded fairways up in Tahoe. I post later after this weekend's B-Tier.

Ive got two in the bag, both green opaque 173. One im attempting to beat into a super flippy roller/trick shot disc. Basically im throwing into every tree/fence/road that I can find, and its not doing much of anything to it. :wall: The other one I like to use for anny shots. Thrown flat, it will hold an anny pretty much all the way to the ground, with a slight flex back the last 25 feet or so. Thrown on a hyzer flip, it still turns a fair amount, but the fade back is more.

I'd been relying on a combo of a Tursas and an Amp for most understable duties, but the F7 punched a gap in between. I have it in 300 plastic and it's as easy to turn as the Tursas, but longer. Of two particular holes I like to use it for drives, one is thrown hard on a small hyzer flip, disc turns over to an anny and locks onto the line. The other is a sky anny thrown out to the left of center and the F7 keeps curling over to the right and finishes tracking straight down a dog leg route. I'd tried that before with the Tursas with mixed success and couldn't break the Amp's back reliably to do the same so for now, F7 has a home as a specialty turning driver. I don't expect the 400 plastic will be as turny, but I'm going to give it a shot, the 300 has taken a few dings in short use. In fact it has two tiny pebbles imbedded in the rim.

An Avenger SS? Barely. I use 2 Avenger SS's They are much more of a distance driver, more glide, and takes more spin/power to turn over, as well as having more fade.

The only thing that an F7 has in common to the A-SS is that it's supposed to be understable.
But very different. Like comparing a Rhyno with a Nuke OS.

but whatever
