The Inevitable 2016 Pros Switching Sponsors Thread

I think they're talking about when he and KC called Scott Stokely on a foot fault I think 3 or 4 straight times

There are a lot of players who would've flown off the handle there. The first one was pretty far off the line it look like, but it's going to be pretty hard to tell in the video.

Don't know about the Memorial event, but at worlds, he and Ken went after Stokely on a foot fault. There was a fault, but it seemed to be a set up, like they had decided to do it, and waited to strike. Then they called a second on the re throw, a less clear call, although all this was via video.

I thought at the time that you could make an argument that Stokely wasn't trying to hit his placement, whereas PB and Ken typically try to, even if they miss, but at that point, you're parsing words. It nicely brought into focus the fairway foot fault issue, and it made Ken and PB look a little nasty, even if at heart they might be good guys.

Thread wander.... For me the bigger issue becomes consistency in calling the rule. It seems to be a matter of convenience, or anger, when it does get called and that is uneven at best.

I believe Patrick Brown took the Discraft hat out of his player's pack (at the 2015 Memorial) and stomped it in front of the volunteers....

I was surprised he was still on Innova for the rest of the year with that move. Even Nikko wouldn't do something like that....

Wow, what a tool.

FWIW, I played a round with Scott at one of his Blue Power events recently, and he had nothing but good things to say about Ken Climo and Patrick Brown.

Naturally.
Just because he looks a little different and is goofy doesnt mean he isnt a true professional. Ive met him a couple times now and he is really a genuinely nice guy. Glad he's back in the sport of disc golf.

He must be a true pro, considering he recently said this:

"Believe me, in the past year I've lost all interest in playing Worlds ever again which makes me sad."

Stokely is outspoken at times, but appears to be a great sport, and a great face for the sport, MO.

So he doesn't want to play worlds.
How does that not make him a pro?

Maybe he's tired of playing that one event.
Maybe he's considering his financial options.
Maybe he just doesn't want to play in big events.

there are so many events these days that I would rather play than worlds. Masters cup, beaver state, vibram, usdgc, european open, and for Scott the US Masters as well Im sure

I respect the Worlds championships. Multiple courses, different every year. True test imo.

Figured he'd pick up another bag company since he left Grip officially on Feb. 1st. lb makes the octothorpe right? Hear a lot of awesome things about those bags.
