In a continual effort to make improvements at the Francis E. Walter Dam Disc Golf Course, we will be hosting "Do it for the Dam V" on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at F.E.W. in Lake Harmony. Tee time is 10:00 a.m. with registration from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

The flat top area may have something to do with it, but I think the Lip or rim of the disc is what makes them unnderstable or overstable. I notice most of the overstable discs have a shallow lip or flatter lip on the bottom while the understable discs have a bulkier, deeper lip. Just a novices...
I too usually throw my Teerex/Destroyer into the wind, but lately it feels like this was the wrong choice of disk. I guess my throws were off then, or the wind was just all over the place and threw the discs off course.
I was curious about which disc to use for a tail wind or a head wind. I believe I should be using an overstable disc when throwing with the wind and I should be using an understable disc when throwing into the wind. Is this correct? or do I have it backwards...
Apparently Trees and Disc Golf Targets don't take to kindly to eachother. Check out what happened on one stormy night in Allentown, Pennsylvania at Jordan Creek Park. A tree was blown down at Hole #16 and landed right on top of the Basket. The results were quite amazing. See for yourself...
