Great Little Short 9 Hole Course
Shorter holes are reachable by newer players. Course is centrally located, in downtown Nacogdoches. Most holes have at least one technical element or obstacle, making this a fun course to play. Birdies are there, but not a given.
Course is pretty short. Not much...
The best advice I got when really new was to stick to mid-range discs and putters. When starting out, distance drivers would just dump left at the end. The first discs that I got some nice glide out of were mid-ranges.
I am new to the sport, and have picked up a couple "special" discs (limited run, fundraiser discs, etc. but nothing crazy rare or expensive). The last thing I need is another collection so I intend on eventually throwing them all. Any differing opinions or ideas on the topic of throwing vs...
Lots of good responses here. Thanks. I think my question has been answered in that there is no specific rule about a player's hand crossing any plane (like goaltending in basketball). I will keep placing my disc into the basket, while maintaining balance, and not using the basket as a point of...

Thanks for all the encouragement, everyone! I pulled the trigger and signed up. Maybe I'll see some of you fine folks at the Piney Woods Open in Tyler, TX in November.
I'm in my late thirties and have only been playing for 2 or 3 months. I'm totally hooked and want to play any time I get the chance. Despite my enthusiasm, I'm still pretty bad. On our local course (par 54) I shoot around +12. My putting and upshot game is ok, but longer shots are still really...
