^ My thought exactly. The King's were my distance drivers for 3 years and after about 2 months of use, they would turn too much for me and became very undependable with a little breeze. I got tired of replacing them.
It's been a little over a year now that I've been using my ballista's in...
Both my fusion & lucid are flat; i mean they come up to the shoulder then flat. While the biofuzion has a moderate dome; but it's still comfortable to grip. I don't have a giant, world or enforcer next to me (they're downstairs) but the rim of the defender feels extremely similar to the giant...
Who has thrown the Defender? I have loved it since throwing it at this years GBO. In fact, I now have 2 fuzion, 2 lucid, & 2 biofuzion. It's also kicked out my Giants, which was in my bag for three years. Great discs!

I've thrown the Pure since I started playing, 6 yrs ago. In my personal opinion, grip line plastic seems a notch below premium plastic w/great grip & feel. I have hit many trees with them and they hold up extremely well; in fact, I still have a 10 of them that I use for practice and cycle in &...
2 yrs, are you sure? b/c the released anywhere between March and summer of 2014, while the VIP were released this past November. And for me, BT soft is the most stable of all. While TP and VIP are similar in stability.
I have a 174.5g sparkle purple Elasto King; I've gotten to throw it about a dozen times during field test. Released on a slight hyzer and watch it slowly cruse right and then hook up. I enjoy watching the flight of it b/c it's beautiful. I carry 4 Kings, all in different plastics and...
Grip Line Pure is probably what you are looking for. From my experience they are the most understable of the plastics; I love the Grip Line Pures. Also, I believe the opto & gold line are pretty similar in stability when it comes to teeing off on a hole 280 ft or less. I prefer the gold line...
I have a 168 & 170. The are both more OS than the dome VIP Kings. I love it. Can't wait to for when the break in.
For reference, I also throw 168-171 for drivers.
I got my Ballista today. The flexibility of the Snow Line plastic reminds me of Discraft FLX; I love it! It will be interesting to see how much more flexible it will get come summer. I can't wait to get home next month so I can throw this. I'm hoping it will replace my World & Kings.
