    Can you ID this course?

Any shot that challenges me to make a putt rather than take the easy layup is okay by me!

Critters on the course you ran into...

Last spring I was playing Hudson Mills in Dexter, MI.. Had a sidearm shot wind up deep in the woods. Upon my discovery of the disc, 3 feet to my right was a female deer giving birth to its young. It was quite the sight!

    Can you ID this course?

First off, this is my first post on the forums so hello to everyone! I've been a member of DGCR for a few months now, and its GREAT to have such an awesome resource for all things disc golf. Anyway, I was browsing Google Images for disc golf wallpapers, and came across a photo of a disc golf...

Review by mcphatty in course Independence Lake - West

4.00 star(s) - Favors forearm shots, but has a nice variety of every shot type - Usaully free to play - Not too crowded - Course changes often, which can be confusing. - While the course is usually free, its expensive when the park booth is staffed. $5 for residents of washtenaw county, $9 for everyone else...

Review by mcphatty in course The Ponds @ Lakeshore - Old Layout

3.00 star(s) - Wide open shots. It's hard to lose a disc here (not impossible!). - One of the best disc golf stores I've been to is on the course. The Throw Shop has great prices and a huge variety. - Not in the best area, but I wouldn't say the course is unsafe. - Lacking trash cans on a lot of holes, so...

Review by mcphatty in course Firefighters Park

3.00 star(s) - Good beginners course. Open layout, easy to find baskets. - Very congested with non-disc golfers - Terrible signage Overall, I would say this park is average at best. The disc golf course is right in the middle of the rest of a park, so there a lot of people on the course that aren't even...

Review by mcphatty in course Holly Woods DGC

3.50 star(s) -Challenging layout, lots of elevation changes and shots requiring good accuracy -Not too busy -Course is relatively well maintained. There was a "course cleanup crew" present while we were playing -Short tee pads, sone holes have no pads at all -Lots of hill climbing Lots of hard shots followed...

Review by mcphatty in course BRATS

4.50 star(s) Private course, so you wont be waiting for large, slow groups. The owners of the course take great care of the grounds, and are very friendly and informative. Good mix of holes. This course will definitely require you to vary your throw. Blind baskets are well marked with tall poles. OB areas...
