Seems like this issue has been with my for a long time. I have to fix it for real now. How does this cause over the top?

More throwing from inside again. Now I think I have a more basic case of over the top, instead of something super weird like before. I need to figure out/know why my body comes over the top, since there must be some motion pattern causing it. I have no way of really forcing myself to not come...

Basically asking why I'm slightly behind the front foot in the follow through, instead of balanced on it. But I think your two points might have answered it

I'm now able to throw "outside" throughout the offseason, which will undoubtedly help with form and everything else. I've been focusing on leading with my front shoulder and hip in the x-step and pushing/changing direction in the brace. Seems like my posture is pretty good, but it's just a bit...

I'm trying if the David Wiggins style standstill works better. Looking at the footage of Wiggins, I'm actually not quite sure how he strides. It seems like he strides very diagonally, as his stride is more of a step/walk than the traditional lateral move. In the above video it looks like I'm...

Still hardstuck on my shifting/momentum issue. I was kind of trying something with my left arm here to try and gain more momentum, but doesn't seem to help really. My shift/front leg/front foot look awful. It really feels like no matter what I do, my body just won't let me shift. I know the...

Back: Side: Tried to get the figure 8 working. I think it helped some, but the plant leg/shift is still off. The plant leg just looks kind of like "smush" and not sturdy/engaged. Looking at how far my hips move relative to the rest of my body, it looks like I should try to keep my hips...

This style of standstill feels the most comfortable to me, so I'm trying to work with this. Lowerbody still very bizarre though. My front hip is almost directly above my front foot. If I try to force myself to keep my front hip more behind, I fall backwards after release.

That's exactly what I was thinking actually. So I need to focus on dropping into the plant, while my back is still turned to the target?

Banging my head on the wall trying to figure out how to tilt my spine/balance towards the front foot like ride the bull. Decided to take away the run-up and just get some video of my standstill, which might make seeing the issues a bit easier. Looking at the video it's just so clear how I'm...

Lever length and athleticism plays a huge factor too. Also MJ, Philo and Schultz never really try to throw hard. They would definitely be able to throw further if they wanted to.

Should I work on the heel motion or braced tilt/ride the bull/double dragon first?

Finally back to throwing. Got some video of me throwing pretty soft. Perhaps good to compare to Simon's softer throws, for example. Not sure what you guys think, but it still looks like the vector from my back knee to front knee is downwards, instead of upwards?

Just tried to do the x-steo with a more natural walk. Not sure why I set my rear foot so perpendicular to target -> spins out because of it, but that's obviously not the main issue. The main issue is the same shifting issue. I still got that ridicilous front heel liftoff and movement during the...

Didn't see the last message until now, but the advice obviously applies to this video aswell. I was trying to tilt my hips my downwards coming out of the x-step and then tip them the opposite way coming into the plant. I'm obviously doing something incredible wrong. My head is in some freak...
