wide open fields with a handful of holes through some trees that will test your ability to grip and let'r rip, wasnt a whole lotta people most times ive gone, wasnt a sence of being rushed

a seasonal course which means some pins are pulled for the snowmobilers, walking from basket 15 to tee 16 is a haul having to cross an entire length of a soccer field

all times i was there not one tee pad had a sign showing what the holes or fairways looked like.... need more signs

The course plays around the fringes of a large multi-use park. There is nicely mowed grass throughout and scattered mature trees. The front 9 is pretty open, while the end of the course has a few more trees to make you shape some lines. There are a few holes that call for some interesting left or right turning shots. There is a nice mix of hole lengths, with a handful of shorter holes and some nice long shots where you can air it out a little more. A couple holes play by the river, it's not a huge risk but it could potentially be in play. The baskets are in nice shape, and most of the new fly pads are flat and in good condition.

Navigation is a little tricky at times, especially with a couple longer walks and places where you have to cross the road. The online map is very useful, without it you'll have to do some wandering and searching to find some tees. Basic tee signs would go a long way here. The land is pretty boring, the design does a good job of using what's available but most of the park is flat, open and boring and that's how the course ends up feeling. The holes near the road could be a safety issue, there was enough traffic that an errant shot could easily end up hittli g a car.

Beginners will find many of the holes pretty long, but the lack of rough means errant shots are rarely punished. More experienced players will have a chance to work on some longer shots and wind game, but won't find too many interesting challenges or much variety. There are much more fun and interesting courses around the area that I would play again over this one.

New layout is a clear improvement from the original pitch and putt. Distance has been added as well as a few new holes. Course is not heavily wooded, but has just enough trees to make you plan your lines carefully. For an Intermediate or advanced player this course is a smooth Par 3 with a few birdie opportunities that you have to earn, Beginners and Rec players can expect to throw a few 4's and 5's without experiencing a ton of frustration.
Discatchers are in pretty good shape and the new fly pads are a massive improvement from the tiny tiles in the ground.

Safety and flow need work.
There are some holes that still play near a busy road and I watched a rec player just miss a car travelling at 50 MPH. You also have to cross the road a few times while playing. Basket for seven is pretty close to the fairway for eight, if the course had a tournament that could be an issue.
Flow was a little odd, and there was a long walk through a soccer field from 15 to 16. A small peice of tape on the basket or an arrow to point the way on a few holes would have saved a lot of time.
Course was flooded and Fly pads were very slippery.
Holes 12 and 14 felt like the same hole.
There is a chance of disc loss in Black Creek, most discs are not going to be fished out.

No tee signs yet and there are no longer circles painted around the baskets.
I am not sure if the basket being tucked into a small semi circle of OB is a pro or con on hole 1. It makes your appraoch risky, but it is very close to the basket and seems gimmicky.

Beginner friendly! Nice flat course, with large mature trees. Had a couple wooded holes, but mostly it is open for great drives!

The rubber tee pads are slippery, but still nice. The design isn't very creative, but it is a nice place to start.

Great course for kids!

Recently redesigned - New layout offers a few brand new holes, while also changing the dynamics of existing holes.

Park Style Layout - Pretty straight-forward layout that utilizes the trees around the park very well. Each hole for the most part allows for multiple routes to be taken to the basket. This aspect makes this course great for beginners, while at the same time the added distances to some holes make it appealing for more advanced players.

New Fly Pads - Hole number and and distance to basket have been painted on each one.

Baskets revamp - Inner chains have been added to the older baskets to prevent spit-outs.

10m circles are painted around every basket.

Typically this is a low-traffic course. You can go anytime of the day, any day of the week, and play at your own pace.

Some of the frames around the fly pads have started warping. The frame around Hole #2's pad has started to come out of the ground in the back on the right side. This one was probably the worst, but it still wasn't a huge problem.

Since the new holes (1,2,17,and 18) have been added to another part of the park, you have to cross N Main St. in Churchville twice. This road can be busy at times, so be cautious.

A few of the holes play close to N Main St. (3,6, and 16). Most of the time this won't be an issue, however it can be windy here and drives can sail well across the road.

Holes that play close to Black Creek (6, and 7) are in a low spot of the park, and typically can be wet even in the later spring months.

Although it may not be the most challenging course in the area, the new layout and amenities make for a very enjoyable round. As stated before, this course is a great place to come out and learn the game for beginners, as well as a great place for more experienced players to practice and shape lines almost risk free. I've enjoyed playing this course for both of these reasons.

redesign has created a longer, more challenging course by adding new holes and lengthening some of the old ones. new holes are much more enjoyable than the ones they replaced. the course still has some of the shorter birdie holes to maintain a mix of long and short.
completely new holes are: 1, 2, 16, 17, and 18. signature hole in my opinion is 18, a 350 something foot hole that has the basket somewhat fenced in by pines with high branches, leaving the basket positioned on the edge of a little hill that drops off quickly behind it.
new tee pads are sweet and have hole number and distance written on pad. love the pads.
beginner friendly. the course is mostly open and not as long as some other local courses.

lack of signs. signs will be coming soon, I'm sure, with the worlds approaching.
scenery. doesn't really bother me that the course is flat because it can't be helped, but I've heard several friends complain about it.

definitely recommend printing a map off of dgcr. course now begins in southern parking lot on left (west) side of CR 268/Main Street after crossing over bridge. 1, 2, 17, and 18 are now on the west side and 16 is in northwest corner on right side of the street.

-New redesign has made this course much more challenging.
-Plenty of long holes throwing around mature trees.
-Rubber fly-pads.
-Restrooms near the parking lot.
-Back nine incorporates tighter lines through trees.
-Multiple lines on each hole give you new ways to attack the course each time.
-Very beginner friendly, with virtually no way to lose your discs.

-Navigation is tricky in a couple of spots. After 15, walk all the way down the road to the pad for 16 near the intersection of the streets. Holes 1,2,17,and 18 are across the street from the rest of the course.
-Hole 6 plays near a road which could be an issue.
-Basket for seven is too close to the fairway for eight, and could also be an issue.
-Uninspiring scenery. The course plays well, but is mostly in a wide open, flat field.

-The course is freshly redesigned, so some signage could clear up a few of my minor gripes. There is likely some tweaking to be done.
-Looking over the whole course makes it seem unexciting, but the views and lines from the tees are excellent.
-This used to be a real easy course, but it will test big arms now with it's new layout as well as punishing you on a few holes for not hitting your gaps.
-It's a bit of a drive from Rochester, but with the new changes it's worth the trip!
