Pearly green that I assume is yummy-gummy champ. Probably an 8? condition wise. I weighed it on a digital scale here at my 2nd job and it was 160 every time...then I hit the light in the right spot and could read that it's marked 157. No ink.

Your question from today...the disc manufacturers are small potatoes and order scrap plastic pellets made to order by other companies. From what I understand, CE was made from Rubbermaid pellets. Rubbermaid changed the specs, so the manufacturer quit making the CE pellets. Innova does not order nearly enough to get pellets made to their specs, so CE went bye-bye.
Innova was caught with their pants down and ended the product line. By the time a suitable replacement was found, CE had been out of production for a while. They decided not to use the old CE designation and called the replacement Champion. Champ plastic is very, very close to CE. A pearly Champ disc is made from better plastic than a 5th run CE disc, becasue the later runs of CE were not that great. Probably if they had found the supply for Champ plastic earlier, it would still be called CE and people who are paying $50/disc for CE would be throwing Champ and not know the difference.

For me I can throw lighter drivers farther, but they are more likely to turn and not as good in the wind. Lighter Rocs for me still are more likely to turn over and are still are not as good into the wind as a heavy Roc, but they don't go any farther than a heavy Roc. The only thing I've used lighter Roc for is as a turnover Roc.
If you get a regular DX Roc it will be a Rancho, and that's what you want. Be more concerned with the dome. If you can push down on the flight plate and it pops back making an audible sound, it has too much dome. You want one with some dome, but not a lot of dome. I can show you what I mean the next time I see you.

Throw the Buzzz low and hard. You are like me and get the nose up on your throws, so the Roc works better for you. The Buzzz doesn't like nose up. It might help you overall to work with one and really work on keeping the nose down.
The Gazelle isn't bad. It's about as fast as a Leopard and as stable as a Roc. I threw them for a long time back in the '90's. A Polecat is a lid. It's good for putting, kinda hard to approach with one without flipping it. I don't really like them, but it might work for you.

Sharpie won't get called. I think they had to OK Sharpie because they require you to mark you disc. Rule 802.01c says "Discs excessively sanded or painted with a material of detectable thickness are illegal." 802.01f says "All discs used in play, except mini marker discs, must be uniquely marked in ink or pigment-based marking which has no detectable thickness." So it all comes down to "detectable thickness." Once you put clear on a disc, to me it has detectable thickness and should be illegal. At least I'd call it that way.

Nope. You can dye a disc because is soaks in. If you apply something on top that has any thickness at all it's illegal. We wouldn't care for play around here, but if you went to a PDGA event you could get called for it.
