Pros: The second course at Charlton Woods plays in and around the camp area as well as the ropes course on site. The baskets are brand new 28-Chain DISCatchers which catch well and are easy-to-spot bright yellow. Some of the highlight holes include: Downhill putter placement shot with water directly behind the basket. Short S-curve shot with water to the left and rear of the basket. Elevated bomb over water. A 200' triangle "island" shot surrounded by OB of streams and road. A basket on top of a 15' wall (basketball flip putt works great here). A cutback hole that forces you to make a nice placement shot (there is no route through the woods yet even with a tommy). Great variety throughout. Playing through the ropes course makes this course very unique. Signage is basic but effective = hole, distance, par, sharpie drawing of typical lane. There were no bugs at all the day we played, which is strange since it's next to all that water.
Cons: Tee pads aren't installed (yet) but the only one I remember having an issue with was hole 6 which was grass and a little slick/muddy. I don't remember the other ones being an issue; maybe a root here and there. There is a walk down a road from 9 to 10 and from 18 to 1.
Other Thoughts: $5 to play both courses all day. Holes 1-9 are right by the on-site cabins and can easily be played as a glow round without venturing off into the woods. The cabins are nice and inexpensive. Centrally located near many area courses so you can stay here and play them all (Maple Hill, Pyramids, Buff, Hyland, West T, Webster, Newton Hill etc). More on-site courses to come...

Pros: 5 bucks to play and you get 2 very fun and diffrent 18 hole courses..cmon you cant beat that..that being said the new course is very fun to play..great variations of shots from tight wooded to wide open field shots and even sum ace run holes..and the shot on 14 i belive it is up a 20ft wooden wall which is very fun to shot at..the field shots are a great switch from the wooded shots even know ive donated 2 discs to the lake trying to clear hole 5..pads are still dirt but to be honest footing wasnt a problem and they say there putting in cement pads soon anyway
Cons: as much fun as it is shoting over the lake i wish there was a alternate tee for hole 5 down by the lake shore is room to and mayb they willl...but thats my problem for not being able to clear the lake lol...only other con is bugs but what can u do about that really lol
Other Thoughts: navagating wasnt to hard there is hand drawn signs which work well...this property is easily my favorite place to play in the area theres so much here..this place is becoming a disc mecca. its really a place you can spend a entire day playing and having a great day
