Pros:

Nice baskets. Fairly challenging with some low ceiling shots and some obstacles. Good variation in types of shots to be thrown on most holes. Great beginner course or for workings on different shots. Like the alternate tee on number 8. Clearly marked course and OB.

Cons:

Not much change in elevation. Pretty short for most players. I throw my putter way too much I feel like.

Other Thoughts:

Not a lot of cons with this course. Great for beginners and I like to come down here to work on my putting game and work on different types of shots. Well maintained and great scenery with the river and tree line along each side of the course.

Gem in Granite Falls 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 14, 2013 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Great Signage
Concrete Pads
Nice Baskets
Great location by the River
Shelter and Port-a-Potty Available
The shots are fun.

Cons:

Short Holes, but a verity of different lengths and forced throwing lanes keeps it fun.

Other Thoughts:

This is a fun recreational course
It is worth a stop to check it out, and play a couple rounds
There is a nice active local club that supports the course
If you like to try for aces at different courses this is your stop.

Nice New River Park 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 13, 2013 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Nice new concrete tees
-Signs are helpful and layout is good. Only lapse in layout is after hole one when you have to walk past the shelter to get to hole 2s tee. I like this better than trying to fit in a hole too close to the shelter.
-Map at start with scorecards and pencils in a water-proof container
-Lots of other things to do here; fishing, playground, skate park, path, picnic shelter
-New baskets
-A decent variety of distances. Many are short ace runs but a few are in the mid-300s. Some holes require left turns and some right. All have some kind of obstacle to avoid.
-A little elevation change.
-Cool walking bridge right next to hole 1
-Great for beginners and kids

Cons:

-Not a ton of distance variation or challenge. This is a good beginners course for a small town.
-Not a ton of trees
-Could maybe lose a disc in some of the vegetation along the right side of the course on the back half.

Other Thoughts:

I stopped at the shop across the walking bridge upon recommendation of the scorecard. Just walking across the bridge was good and the shop had a decent selection of discs. Some were very poorly priced and some were near the best prices I have ever seen. Some champion was 20 and others were 10. Some dx was 6.50 and others were 10. You could get a nice deal here if you find the right disc. The lady working the store told me that plans are being made for another course down the river at a campground that could have as many as 36 holes.
I think this course is worth a stop. It is in a very pleasant park and you have a few ace runs. It should get better with age.

Up and back 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 2, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

Decent baskets and concrete tee pads.
Tee pads are marked with the number for the corresponding hole. Some technical shots. Very quick play! Pretty good flow to the course.

Cons:

No tee signs with distance or pars. Very short. Some shots fairly open.

Other Thoughts:

The course runs up and back along the river. It would take a very errant throw to lose a disc in the river. This is a good beginner/rec course to learn the game. Three of us throwing two discs each finished the course in less than 30 minutes. My grandson threw a round of 23 with one of his discs.
