Pros: Great range of shots needed to do well on the course. There is significant elevation change on many holes and most holes are unique and well designed. The course is well maintained and easy to navigate. Extremely fun to play and will definately help your game improve!
Cons: Very challenging course for everyone, especially for beginners. There is a tendency to lose your disc on a few holes. Can become addicting.
Other Thoughts: This is a truly awesome course. i've been to most of the ones in my state (NY) and i honestly have to say that i like Parma the best. Try it, its definately worth your time.

Woods & Open holes, fun course!

Pros: Really good mix of wooded and open holes, some holes play both open and wooded. Pond and small creek come into play on a few holes, adding to the difficulty. A few holes utilize the available elevation changes adding more character. Course is a stand-alone area, so no dog walkers or kids to worry about!
Cons: No signage at the tees making some holes difficult to find, I wandered about for a few minutes on a couple holes searching for tees.
Other Thoughts: This course was lots of fun to play, it was hot out so I didn't even mind having to swim in the pond after my star valkyrie.

Pros: Enjoyable course, lots of variety including pond obstacle, wooded holes, open meadow, elevation, small stream. Challenging too including a number of blind holes or heavily wooded.
Nice place for a walk with habitat variety and nature trail. Lots of bird houses and bat houses too.
Cons: Needs signage. Map of moderate help, avail at Tees difficult to find in field, marked with yellow or red markers on ground, few staked too. Spent considerable time wandering, looking for several tees. No info on distances on site or basket location on several blind holes (hole descriptions with length avail at above link).
Lots of poison ivy in woods, some holes have lots of vegetation, could be easy to lose disc.
Other Thoughts: Might go on my early season list to avoid poison, or won't take wife, kid, or dog.

If you haven't been here before, take map and hole descriptions with you (link above) and be patient.

Pros: Just West of Rochester is a course gaining momentum. A well designed, tournament caliber course that is challenging to everyone. You must be accurate and have a good arm. A couple rounds here and you feel like you have really played. The second hole requires a shot over a pond which gives you a decision to lay up or go for it. After a few wooded holes is a long, long hole which requires distance but half way through the hole tests your accuracy as well. The rest does not let up as every hole is a new challenge.
Cons: Still a little rough around the edges but will get better over time. Lack of official tee signs could make it difficult to navigate.

Pros: Great variety of terrain: perfectly flat and extremely hilly portions, as well as very open / heavily wooded sections. Plenty of acreage for the course. Would be a pleasant place to walk through without even a disc in hand.
Cons: The primary signs that are visible on the course are the threatening no trespassing ones around the perimeter. Tees are not numbered, no map to be found, and thus the course proves impossible to navigate at times. Some of the baskets are noticeably askew.
Other Thoughts: This may eventually become the best course in Rochester, but for now lack of signs killed it for me. It would be a good idea to bring along someone who can lead the way or a detailed map, but one shouldn't have to. I'm sure this course is well enjoyed by those who know it well, but with nothing to guide the unfamiliar and reveal how to get from tee to hole and hole to tee, much of the fun is lost for the rest of us.

Pros: Great Course for all skill levels.
utilizes landscaping and elevation changes through out. Nice small town course.
Cons: Some of the holes are marked wrong, bring a map or someone who knows the course or the frustration may ruin the experience.
This course needs better signage and arrows pointing to the next tee on all baskets.
Other Thoughts: Course has elevation, open areas, tight shots, managable water hazards, and steep drop off that can kill your score if discs glide a little to far. Several memorable signature holes. Once you become familiar with this course (or if you play it with a guide) you will really enjoy it, but if you come unprepared you will become insanely frustrated.

Pros: Course is great for all skill levels - 3 sets of tees. Wide variety of field & woods holes. The course works the elevation changes into the holes nicely.
Cons: Search online & bring a printout of the course with you. Some holes aren't easy to find without a map. Might get a bit muddy after a rain.
Other Thoughts: I was in the area on vacation for a week and played this course each day. Tried the more famous Chili course once, but thought Parma was much better.

Pros: Good variety of holes
Cons: Ground bees on a couple of holes. Maybe not a real con but I hate them :)
Other Thoughts: Since going to the 18 hole layout Parma now boasts a great mix of wooded and open holes. Just about all the holes are a lot of fun and well designed IMO. This course has become a regular stop on my weekly DG outings as I'm sure it has for other locals.
