Nice little course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 11, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Im from the twin cities and get to play a number of high rated courses so I can be hard to impress, but for a park like setting this is a good little course. The signage is confusing, but I see new concrete tee boxes going in and they have have nice baskets. This DGC is being improved in 2017. As far as playing it, a number of holes are easy to get in trouble on if you go for it and land under/in a big cedar tree.
Also of note, the course signage shows pars that are different than whats posted here on DGC Review. The average player will play close to par as posted on the signs, but the pro's should be able to play par 3 or less per hole.

Cons:

Tee's are hard to find.
Some holes play close to roads.
Wish it was 18 holes.

Other Thoughts:

Looking forward to the future of this course.

Mislead 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 30, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

I loved the new baskets.

A few fun shots.

Its good to give disc golf some presence in new places.

Cons:

Plays too close to busy roads on a few holes.

Hard to find tee locations. Had to make up our own tees on a few holes.

No tee pads.

Confusing to get around the course.

I was excited by a high rating but, sorely disappointed while playing the course.

Other Thoughts:

Not worth making a trip out of but, if your in Virginia anyway then enjoy.

Course could be a 2.5-3 with pads and signs.

Pleasantly Surprised 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 10, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good variation in course length. Very deceiving course, looks easy, but still challenging for armatures.

Cons:

Grass tees get muddy and slick. Not a lot of markings to find tee's.

Other Thoughts:

I think this is an all around great course A little tricky to find the tee's as there is just a stone and a white line on the ground.
