Short and sweet 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 25, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Well laid out: Course is set in a lovely area of parkland, which is used for many activities.

Course Map: There is a big board by the first tee which shows the layout of the course. If you have not downloaded the course map before you travel I suggest taking a photo of this map so that you have something to refer to on you visit

Tee signs: Every hole has a tee post which shows a picture of the hole, with any OB marked.

Baskets: Despite being quite old, the baskets are in good condition and will stop even a high speed disc.

Cons:

Direction of next hole: When you finish some holes it is not obvious which way you need to go for the next tee. Signage would be useful (especially between hole 5 & 6)

Other Thoughts:

A nice fun course, which can be used either as a practice round or if you wish a warm up before tackling the advanced course.

Lots of walkers, cyclists and horse riders where around during my visit. All seemed aware of disc golf and everyone gave the course a wide berth which was lovely to see.

Good beginner course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 6, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Good hole signs and decent flow of holes one to the next.
Short but fun holes to chanllenge the new player or work well as good birdie/ace course for seasoned players.
Mobile Pro shop, lessons and Hire service available contact MrFrisbee

Cons:

not all holes have tee pads (council restriction)
Older Basket with not great visibilty and a little small compared to DGP Target or similar
Course ends quite far from the start although you can play back on the remainder of the Advanced course

Other Thoughts:

Nice introduction to the sport for families and new players
