Review by listentomorejazz in course Grip-er Rip-er DGC

2.50 star(s) Bomber's dream - The course was mostly well manicured - Very fun elevation, up and down - New, easy to spot baskets - A few great roller opportunities - A few engaging par 4s - Proshop attendant was nice, there was a decently stocked disc selection and disc golf was not an anomoly; it was almost...

Review by listentomorejazz in course The Breakers

3.50 star(s) Traveling Review - Infrastructure is in great shape. Well sized concrete tee pads and very sharp blue prodigy baskets - Very well maintained. Apparently there was a tournament a month or so before, so that likely helped, but it seemed as though it would stay in good shape. The rough was also...

3.00 star(s) Traveling Review - Concrete tees in good shape. Short, but easy to run up from behind if needed most places - Great signage and navigation (big if you're traveling) including a next tee marker on the baskets - Baskets are in good enough shape - Elevation gains and losses - Chances to air out...

4.00 star(s) Very Enjoyable Woods Course - The course area is Disc Golf Only. 2.50 star(s) Good Beginner Course It has to be stated up front: this is only a six hole course, thus the rating is factored against other six hole courses. - Baskets are all in good shape and the course is fairly well maintained. - Decent elevation change and good mix of wooded vs open shots - Course has tee...

Review by listentomorejazz in course Scarboro Hills

3.50 star(s) Disc Golf Only! - Course is a secluded, disc golf only park - Well maintained by county, OB is also fairly well marked - Two sets of rubber tee pads that typically have an excellent amount of space - Most holes have two baskets - Both wooded holes requiring precision and open holes where you get...

Review by listentomorejazz in course Franklin Park

3.00 star(s) Well Maintained, but little variety - 3 sets of well marked, well built concrete tee pads - 2 baskets for each hole - Well maintained, which is key with the large amounts of grass this course plays over. They were mowing the day I was there and it was evident that it is mowed frequently. - A...

Review by listentomorejazz in course Oshtemo Township Park

3.00 star(s) There is no signage... -Tee pads are grippy concrete, usually large enough for the hole -Two tee pads on every hole with very distinct looks. The short layout was enjoyable and mostly easy, but the long provides a good challenge up through the advanced level. Almost played like two separate...

    Unsanctioned single division cash tournament

Love this idea. Does the first round matter in the final payouts? Or once the tiers are divided, only second round counts?

    Pittsburgh Disc Golf

PGH Course Suggestion? I will be driving through Pittsburgh up to Meadville and will try to stop for one course on the way back south. My question is- Moraine, Deer Lakes or Knob Hill? Moraine seems the easiest, but wanted input as to if there is a must play over the rest. Thanks!
