I played this course on my way home from Maine with my 11 yr old son. We both really enjoyed. Its easy to see all the hard work that goes into this course. With our last name being Walters the emporium was that much cooler.

Charlotte does sound nice. Portland is a lot of fun but cold rainy winters would be miserable on arthritis. I'll take our Wisconsin snow over that.

Don't forget LL Stub Stewart State Park. Plus its always fun to SAY you have played it.

Silver Fox west of Kenosha. Play that and Fairfield in northern Illinois. Grey-Red Fox are also right down the street from the Silver Fox

1-2-2017. I played 4 new to me 9 holers then an 18 holer and 1 more 9 to finish my day in northern Illinois. 6 new to me courses in winter is a good start to the year.

Dretzka winter is 27 holes. It's not the best course but it's secluded and I prefer it over the regular course

I believe all of them are. Im not sure about the regular Dretzka course but the winter course is in. Brown Deer is play to all long baskets. Challenging enough during the other seasons but winter adds the extra challenge of layers and snow. Remember its $5 a day for as many as you can play...enjoy.

I drove 2 hrs to play Rollin Ridge for the 1st time in 2012. I was 1 week out of surgery after having a tumor, my semetic cord and a nut removed because of testicular cancer. Played mids and shorts. I could hardly bend down to pick up a disc by the last 9 of the second round but I had to finish...
