The Boulder Woods and Quakers\' Challenge Courses...
Let's see... well, probably go back to what I was doing before I got a job that took me away from it for awhile. That being mountain biking. Perhaps also get back into bowling. I played in a league back in high school. Still have my ball & shoes, so there's that. Don't play much of that...
First Ace: About 290' from short teepad at Jordan Creek. Hole #7. Nothing but basket!
Second Ace: 170' Hickory Run. Hole #7. Bounced off a tree and in.
Both this past April.
I've had one good throw with my Z Cyclone. I always seemed to griplock this disc. I actually have it back in my bag for when a practice round comes up, just to give it a second chance, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Close second is the Xcaliber. I bought this and a Force in the same...
I have had so many dreams of doing just this that I just leave mine in the car. I notice that they're gummy in the beginning right out of the car, but certainly not melty or have any type of indention. Of course, I'm up in the Northeast, so we don't have quite as hot of summers as some places.

I wore the regular Moab shoes daily for three years until I wore out the back of them. I like to slip them on & off without untying. Otherwise, they would've lasted a lot longer. I just replaced them with the Gore-Tex Moabs and I'm still breaking them in.
Wraiths take awhile to break in when molded in the higher plastics, but once they do, they stay there for a long while with a sweet flight. Very stable. I was trying an Orc for awhile, but kept going back to the wraith. The Orc was used more for long open bombs, the Wraith for accurate shots.
Whoops, my mistake. Was the Impulse another previous Ace Race disc, then?
Edit: Actually, a quick search of a few stores doesn't even turn up an Impulse... where did I see that?
Oh well, at least I knew it was PDGA approved, which was the important part. *shrug*
It is PDGA approved and has been released as a full-on disc since then. I'm a bit foggy on the name, but I think it was named Impulse. I could be wrong on that.
