Do some current plastics differ from others?

I was fondling some Innova stuff at the local outlet and came across a champ Teebird that seemed to be gummier than others on the shelf. It looked the same and had flight numbers in the stamp but it seemed to feel more like the older CE plastics. It was bold pink too so I snapped it up.
So, do modern runs produce variations in plastic?

I have noticed that new pro stuff seems almost chalky like DX and wars pretty fast. Some of my older Pro plastics have been smoother. Almost like a slightly less durable star plastic.

Lol, yeah man all companies can have very dramatic differences between runs. From disc shape, (dome, PLH, inner rim and other stuff) to stiffness, and wear characteristics. All the plastics vary, not just base line, or premiums.
