DISC GOLF CHARITY PRO-AM TOURNAMENT SET FOR FEB. 10-12 AT SHIPYARD PLANTANTION ON HILTON HEAD ISLAND

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The Savannah Disc Golf Club has arranged to host a pro-am tournament to benefit The First Tee of the Lowcountry.

The event kicks off with practice rounds at Shipyard's Brigantine golf course Friday afternoon, Feb. 10. Saturday's action starts at 8 a.m. with a players meeting, followed by two rounds of competitive play, beginning at 9 a.m. on the course specially designed by Premier Design Disc Golf. The final round is set for 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, followed by a 2 p.m. awards ceremony.

Organizers are specially outfitting the venerable Shipyard course for the tournament with 18 disc golf holes. Serious players won't want to miss this rare opportunity to throw discs on one of the South's most popular golf courses.

All Players will receive:
1) Continental Breakfast Saturday and Sunday
2) Box Lunch Saturday and Sunday
3) A custom-stamped Tournament Disc to commemorate the event

Rooms are not taxable and no amenity fee will be charged in addition to the nightly rate. They will upgrade as many rooms to oceanfront view as possible. (Room release date is 1/15/2017)

Juniors Play Free

Hi,
We are opening up slots for Juniors to play for free.

There will be a few terms and conditions

1) Player must be under 18
2) Junior Players may not be left unattended
3) Junior Players will be required to pay a $20 deposit which will be fully refunded under the current conditions
a) The player shows up and participates - "no show" monies will be donated to the First Tee
b) Players who are not PDGA members will get back $10 - with the other $10 going to the PDGA

Y'all are invited to this. We were awarded a grant which is helping us take over a swanky ball golf course on Hilton Head Island. Premier Design Disc Golf will be setting up the course.

Everyone who plays gets a premium custom-stamped disc and breakfast and lunch both days. Amateurs get a full players pack and the opportunity to win part of $1000 in prizes. Professionals payout is 100% of their entry fees.
