OK I gave the course a 4.5 rating, keep in mind this is what I would rate it typically. Right now with the snow it is a bit more like a 3.75...Great year round course, snow usually isn't too deep in New Castle so you really can play most of the year. Tight heavily wooded tees to wide open drives. Play is challenging for beginners in general starting at hole 5/6. the back nine makes up a bit in the length department but is still not that long.

Damn river eats stray discs, and retriving stays from the commercial sites along 14-18. road next to tee 2 can be annoying.

The map is now a bit inaccurate, HOLE 12 has moved. Due to high water in the Spring of '10 and a downed tree pushing over the basket, the disc golf club moved the basket to the bottom of the hill that leads up to tee 13 / 17. The move makes the hole longer and almost impossible to see the basket from the tee. if you are throwing RHBH then you need to go through the big group of trees and let the fade take you to the basket, I generally throw this as a RHFH and go up and over the large Oak bush to the left of the tee and let it fade into the landing zone. might be the longest hole on the course now, unless you play #3 from the concrete around the bathrooms(end update). This is my home course, I can walk there in about 15 minutes, so I am bias. yes this is short course but give it a chance it is real fun. As time goes on the primative tees will be replaced or upgraded, but as another review mentioned with the short length it is generally a non issue. Holes 5-9 are great fun if you like woods, tight drives and elevation changes. You'll really get a chance to enjoy the course in Sept - Oct when the weather is perfect and fall is closing in around you.
