Fun and Easy Little Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 14, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Good Parking
-Nice DISCatcher baskets
-Concrete tee pads for beginners
-Multiple tees
-Good signs with hole info
-Very easy to navigate
-A few ace runs
-Very clean and well maintained with a few trashcans and benches throughout the course
-Beginner friendly

Cons:

-Can get very soggy by hole #1 and #2 basket after a good rain
-Only concrete tee pads for beginners tees

Other Thoughts:

This is a short and sweet course, it was still fun to play. There is not really a challenge at this course just basic straight shots. I will play it again when I am in the area.

Close Quarters-Tails Down 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Feb 25, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Great pitch and putt type course. There was a great job in the landscaping. The future of this course looks good. It is well maintained. Finding your way from hole to hole is easy and this is a great course for beginners, but a fun ace course for more advanced players. You are not likely to lose a disc on this course and the many benches and trash-cans should keep this place in good shape.

Cons:

On holes 6,7, & 8 you will not be happy playing from the advanced tees. They are marked right up to a fence. The close quarters means you have to just stand and throw for those advanced tees. It is too bad they did not put the cement tees on all the tee areas. I say this because the intermediate and advanced tees or grass/dirt style, while the close tees are all cement.

Other Thoughts:

I love the sidewalk that encircles the course and the people were real friendly. The landscaping is very nice. It was well designed and very comfortable place to play. The word is that they are discussing the idea of making this an 18 hole course eventually. They have the the land and enthusiasm to make this work.

Update: The parks department has been adding lots of trees lately to make these small holes more accuracy orientated, but they are still very young trees and won't be much trouble for quite some time.
