Decent enough for the location 2+ years

Pros:

18 hole course laid out in Riverside Park. The park also features walking trails and other family activities that are mostly separated from the course.

Concrete tee pads, one per hole. These were very well done, being plenty long and wide. A few of the pads didn't seem to line up with the basket positions...I'm not sure if this was done to encourage certain lines or if there was a redesign. One tee pad per hole.

Plenty of trees to force decisions here. There is nothing I'd consider overly tight or unfair, just a smattering of obstacles to keep you on your toes. Several holes also have mandos in an attempt to separate holes and reduce safety concerns. Several of the last few holes played into the trees a bit and offered a touch more skill to score well on.

Good signage, with hole number, distance, hole layout and par. These were very well done, and helped with navigation immensely. Every basket also had a next tee sign attached to the pole, which was a very nice touch. Without these features, it may have been tough to get around, but with them it was a breeze. Each basket also has the hole number on a placard above the chains.

Nice distance variation here, with holes ranging from 208-522', with good coverage in between. It was nice to play a city park type course where I was able to bust out several speed classes of discs.

Very cart friendly, if that's the way you roll.

Cons:

The baskets here are homemade and could probably us an extra set of chains. For what they are, they catch decent, but a few spit throughs are almost inevitable. They look nice and don't play crazy terrible, but they could definitely use some work. One pin position per hole.

There are some safety concerns, as the holes tend to be one right next to the other, without any real separation outside of mandos. You also throw over a walking path on hole 5, as well as throwing toward and area that could have people in it on hole 4. I'd imagine this park get some pretty good usage on the weekends, so be aware!

Not much in the way of elevation, and zero water.

Other Thoughts:

Overall, this is a decent spin in a city park, on a course that plays well but could be a touch better. Talking with the locals, it sounds like they have another 10 hole course back in the brambles somewhere...which will be a nice complement to this course once it's cleaned up and playable.

This is really the only course in the immediate area (outside of a private 9 holer), so if you're around, you'll play it. Nearly everybody will have fun here, so go give it a run!

Pros:

Very well maintained park. Long concrete tee pads. Very well made baskets. Overly generous par that will make you feel good.

Cons:

Only 9 holes. Old growth trees, but very little for obstacles. Lots of open fairways. Walking traffic could be an issue at times. No real elevation change or obstacles except some trees.

Other Thoughts:

Very well maintained course and well marked. Good for beginners. Fun for the more experienced. Tee pads are awesome and the homemade baskets are better than some from companies. Course is marked in a way that it looks like it is going to be an 18 hole. I would bump the rating a little with more holes and if the other holes offered some different challenges. With the current nine hole layout I had no need for a variety of shots. Good to play if you are in the area.
