The Valley of Doom! 2+ years drive by

Pros:

This is simply one of the most magnificent courses I've ever seen in an urban area.
It is tight and technical, with a number of tunnel shots--including, quite literally, a tunnel on #16--and these narrow fairways will require exceptional accuracy and a variety of left, right, and straight shots (whether they are 200 foot or 400 foot holes, you will get bogies out here).

Many of the 200 foot holes are uphill and require either a mid range or driver to reach this easy putter distance (oh yes, did I mention that there is a great deal of elevation on this course?).

To say that it is densely wooded underestimates the technical difficulty of this course. Far from mere mature trees with their 4 foot diameters, this course is blessed with unusual shrubbery that is dense, much wider than trees and placed--or carved out--throughout the course to create maximum challenge in what is ultimately a small space (there really aren't a lot of bomber holes, but those are fun, a seemingly reachable downhill final hole that then goes up to a protected green).

You will love the wicket of trees on the difficult 3rd, and the water and bridge you must cross to get to the 11th. There are simply too many great holes here to describe in full detail, so take a look at the great photography. You won't be disappointed.

Cons:

I give out very, very few 5 disc ratings, but this is one of my all time favorite courses.

Other Thoughts:

Natural beauty beyond what most courses offer and a design that clearly didn't alter the landscape much (adhering to the original ethic of disc golf not to harm the land the way ball golf does).
Simply amazing.
