Classic Review lines

dgcraig's review of Springwood Players' Course was nice but scrolling down to brotherdave's review made me smile repeatedly. it's a long b!tchfest but has some funny moments and i love when people actually name names for bad behavior. accountability is important

cheers broD!

That review is epic.

I also saw this sign and found it amusing. I can't understand why the signs are so bad. Even with just two colors it isn't hard to make a minimalistic sign that is accurate.

Those signs are criminally bad lol. About half the reviews for that course are diamond level reviewers (myself included). Got to play them all!

Some remarks in course reviews are so well said that they need to be memorialized. I love a well crafted line, so post the ones you find. To me, they add zest to a review, so I'd like to encourage those who create them.
Ok, I'll play. This is a recent gem from Udisc, (since Sugaree has been de-listed on DGCR since 2017);
" A bit steep in places.
I may have seen a skin walker"

I also liked his homage to Coolio:

Lefty Paradise:

You'll throw anny all dam_n night
Throwing in the Lefty's Paradise

Your elbow will need ice
Throwing in the Lefty's Paradise

You'll only hyzer once or twice
Thowing in the Lefty's Paradise...

I encountered this one from TVK the other day.

The lines I enjoyed the most are:

The disc golf course starts across the little street from the cabins and plays off into the sunset.

There are no tee pads nor is there any evidence of any. I think the crime scene has been wiped down.

When you add up the total campers and divide by the campers who actually played this course, then multiple by the campers who returned a second time for more punishment, you'll probably get a big Zero.

The Valkyrie Kid's review of Baldfoot DGC in Sandpoint, Idaho:

"After # 13, there was a scary ass creek crossing for me, a 63 year fat, old man. I'm sure you younger guys had no problems scampering across those skinny little trees laid across the creek but I was visualizing a splashdown. I'd prefer a more permanent bridge of sorts or perhaps a ferry."

Slippingdiscs review of Pyramids in Leicester, MA:

Cons: Fee to play
Too many frogs
Creek crossings

Other Thoughts: This is a fun course to play, particularly if you like scenic courses with many wooded holes. There are several creek crossings, which can be fun and scary at the same time. The layout is pretty easy to follow even though there are no "next tee" signs. From the basket for 16, cross the entrance road to the left of the shed to get to the tee for 17. If you cross to the right of the shed, you'll go to 18 instead. If you're phobic of frogs (as I am), watch out near the creek. They're jumping all over.

Wow. I'd thought I'd heard/read just about every complaint you could have about a dg course. That's a new one though.
