[Latitude] Latitude 64 Saint

so its fairly obviouse now that the saint /= teebird.
it is however a disc that fits between strikers and visions. has tons of glide and is for me its very controllable.

For me, it is proving more useful than the Teebird because of the Saint's superior line-shaping ability.

^ I like the way you spell won lol

Thank you for helping me with that Johnny! I wish I was as good as you at posting. Can you give me some tips on how to dominate the forums like you do? Like the number of posts you have!!! Is that because you are the best disc golfer ever and need to help others? Or is it because you don't know how to use the search function, and like to troll? Go **** yourself.

Hey, Johnny, you should go create or derail more threads!

For instance:
Asking if buying a DX destroyer is stupid... in the thread specifically made to discuss new gummy/grippy champion plastic.

But lets move beyond such nonsense.

Anybody noticing any large differences in plastic rigidity from Saint to Saint?

Between two of my opto pinkies one is real gummy and one is like a stone. Both 166 gram. Doesn't seem to change the flight, just curious. I prefer gummier feeling plastic in my drivers.

I did notice a difference in the saints at the store and mine. I have a 168 opto red/orange that is gummy but all the saints at the store are pretty stiff. It might just be different runs?

^^ lol thanks MrGlass ;)

On topic, I haven't noticed a difference in texture on any Opto Saints yet, but I've only felt up few ;)

Did anybody get a chance to throw a skulboy stamped saint yet? I know there had to be a few of you close to dtw :)

How would a Saint compare to a Z Stalker and Star Teebird for 300ft throws? By what I see I gather it will be longer than the Stalker with a small turn and slight fade. Less stable than the Teebird but more stable than a TL. Almost like a straighter ESP Cyclone.

Basically, I'm looking for a longer Stalker. Opto or Goldline?

I would say get both. An opto flys like a faster domey stable stalker but with more glide and the GL's are like flat broken in stalkers but faster.

I would say opto for what you are looking for. I have had my opto turn and burn on me a few times and they are more stable than the goldline from what I hear. I find myself reaching for my saint more and more. Great disc.

yeah gold line is a different beast than the opts. I would say go opto all day. the gold line is way less hss. the fade is there but way later in its flight. The gold line needs a ton of room r to l to get its flight.

I will say that all my opts seem to be identical in dome and plh. the gold lines are a little less domey than the opts, but all my gl are the same too.

Honelsty may as well be two different discs in my opinion. opto is the way to go if its your only saint.

the 2 Saints that I have are 168 GL and 169 Opto

I'm thinking of ordering a couple more another 168 GL for tailwind but to give me extra comfort in winds I was thinking of ordering 172+ Opto's

those of you with heavier Opto Saints how are they performing when there is wind?

ANyone else who threw a striker before this find themselves leaving ti at home? Seems to be way to similar to my saint.

This is a great post for you know your addicted to disc golf when..... Your phone autocorrects "it" to ti. Or you have disc golf on your brain so much you just automatically switch it without thought. Not giving you a hard time for misspelling it, just thought it was funny.

To your question, I find my opto strikers to be more over stable. Almost like a longer t-bird. My saint will almost get the same distance but it turns right way more before the fade and glide kick in. Rhbh.
