I screwed it up the first time I tried posting here.

Old age? Herbal medicine? :D

Anywho, I haven't played any of the so called Top 10, and in reality I have played mainly in Western NY from the Rochester area west to Evangola SP in NY.

That said here's my list:

1. Joseph Davis SP, Lewiston, NY - Nothing real special about JD (aka The Dizzle). But its my home course; only a 10 minute ride. It does have 27 holes and the original 18 is one of the oldest courses in the country.

2. Sloterpark, Amsterdam, The Netherlands - Its Amsterdam for God's sake what else needs to be said.

3. Black Diamond at Emery Park. First basket is 1000 feet down a ski slope. And that's from the white tees. A great mix of tight and technical and wide open. Excellent use of elevation. True par 4s and 5s.

4. Shore Winds, Blue Course, Lakeside Beach SP, NY - Long and demanding another course with wide open holes and tight and technical holes. Number 14 reminds me of number 18 at Pebble Beach Golf Links. A beautiful panoramic hole along the bluffs of Lake Ontario.

5. Hawk's Landing, Eden, NY - Private course. Tight, short and fun. Full service disc golf shop on the premises. You need every shot in your arsenal. Stay in the fairway and you'll score well, get in the rough and your in disc golf jail. There's also an 18 hole mini course, Shadow of the Hawk, and coming soon another 18, The Hawk. It promises to be even more demanding than the first standard course. And the owners, Doug & Mary, couldn't be nicer folks.

1. Harmon Hills, Fall Branch, TN
2. Renny Gold Charlotte, NC
3. WR Jackson Appling, GA
4. Hornets Nest Charlotte, NC
5. Victor Ashe Knoxville, TN

1 - Rollin Ridge - WI
2 - West Lake Park - IA
3 - Phil Moore Park - KY
4 - Brown Deer Park - WI
5 - Pine Oaks - FL

Nevin Community Park
Bailey Road Park
Stumpy Creek
Bradford
Robbins Park

All courses I had a hand in designing. You can "like" someone elses baby, and they might be better at a lot of things... but you'd do anything for yours.

1 - Rollin Ridge - WI
2 - West Lake Park - IA
3 - Phil Moore Park - KY
4 - Brown Deer Park - WI
5 - Pine Oaks - FL

We had our ace race today in Horicon, WI and a few of the guys were saying how awesome Rollin Ridge was. I know it's kicked into the top 10, but the way these guys described it, it is DG Nirvana. I guess the onsite amenities make this disc golf course almost like a traditional golf course.

Can't wait to check it out.

I changed my mind

Flip City
Moraine State Park
Black Diamond at Emory Park
Chainbiters at Brown Farm
Cant decide between Hyzer Creek, Clay Park, and Deer Lakes for number 5

Wow! Clay Park? Never expected to see that. Not criticizing, just didn't see it becoming very popular after being born in a swamp in Central NY

Kincaid Park DGC- Alaska
New Quarter Park- Virginia
DeLaveaga Park- California
Milo McIver State Park (Riverbend DGC)- Oregon
Shelton Springs DGC- Washington

Overall favorites

As of now I'd say;

Maple Hill
Deer Lakes
Flip City
All of Highbridge Hills
Phantom Falls

I'm a sucker for natural beauty and fun factor. The overall experience at the private courses trump any lack of technicality.

If I were to say the most demanding or pro style courses...I'd say;

Iron Hill
Renney Gold
Nocky
Idlewild
Blue Ribbon Pines

Tough to narrow to 5 each

After driving across the country and playing many of the top courses, here is my top 5:

1. Maple Hill
2. Highbridge Blueberry
3. Highbridge Gold
4. Flip City
5. Conifer

if you're curious, rounding out the top 10 are:

6. Highbridge Granite Ridge
7. Bucksnort
8. Horning's Hideout Meadow Ridge
9. Lake Casitas
10. tough pick between the ones below:

Blue Ribbon Pines, Waterworks, Magic Meadows, Whistler's Bend, or Hummel

- necro bump -

I have been doing a lot course research in and around my future residence (near Pensacola, FL) and stumbled onto this thread. Here's my current list:

Kincaid Park - Anchorage, AK
Moose Pretzel - Homer, AK
Skyline Wilderness - Napa, CA
Farragut State Park - Athol, ID
Blue Mountain - Missoula, MT

Hopefully, some of the higher rated Alabama and Georgia courses will crack my furious 5 in 2017. Anyone change their list in the last 3+ years?

I haven't traveled much, but my current top 5 are

1. Stoney Hill
2. Renaissance Gold
3. Rolling Pines
4. RL Smith
5. WR Jackson
