[Vibram] Vibram Disc Golf Thread (Part II)

To all those who really love the firms, I think I have a few firms that I would love to trade for Mediums. Any Vibram disc I have in my disc organizer that is a firm I am more than willing to trade for a Medium of the same, or something else I might want.

Jeffers! I received your two discs yesterday! Thank you! I will be testing them out soon!

Question for you Vibram throwers. What would you recommend for a solid start with these discs? 1 driver 1 mid 1 putter. Just thinking of venturing out and trying new things.

Thanks!

^a lot of over-lap given the mold and uses for a putter. Ill throw a putter and driver all day over having a mid. Hell you could tear up any course with a driver and putter but will lack some D with only a mid and putter (assuming your not a noobie)

I could reach 95% of the holes out there with my Ibex and put it within 50' even on holes over 400'. The Ibex has amazing glide and beats in to a perfectly stable disc that will hold any line for eternum.
The Ibex has some crazy distance potential for a mid.

My recommendation for discs to get a taste of Vibram: Trak, Ibex, Sole or V.P.

yep but atleast with some wind a driver can be powered down to hit the same lines as the mid but handle the high speed drives better.

I don't even have a high speed in my bag right now so don't get me wrong but if I am taking two discs out to try I want to see some differences and a mid/putter can fill a spot in a bag where the putter/driver fills 2 and gives for more of a fulfilling testing experience! :)

I understand that. For me, I would rather go the putter/mid route. Either one has its advantages and disadvantages for sure.

Someday, but probably not until later in the year. Last hint Steve gave everyone was that the next thing to testers was likely not a new disc but some other change to current discs. Either way I am excited to hear what the testers get in the mail in the next few weeks.

Did he specify that it would be a disc? I was hoping for a Vibram bag.

This is what he said.

Thank you all for your patience. We're on our third take and our currently testing the molds in production. (Yes, I said molds ...)

Having said that, I'm not saying that the next discs the testers see is going to be an OS Lace. It might not be a new disc at all. :)

and since we're wildly speculating, a Vibram bag would be incredible.
