Breaking news: Hundreds of dollars being lost to overseas disc manufacturers

I miss Poor Boy. And UGP.

Nice. I've still got a pair of Homeless Shinpads somewhere in the basement. My S&M Challenger is long gone though.

I used to be as into BMX as I am into DG nowadays. I was just about as bad at BMX then as I now am at DG.:\

You can't troll with only a partial quote.
So your joke is irrelavant.

Of course it wasn't relevant. I didn't see the partial quote rule in the faq. Care to link it?

I still have my S and M War Pig in my garage. Thing weighs a ton compared to modern bikes. Can't believe I was ever able to get onto a rail with that thing, especially considering the gigantic Primo Tube Steak pegs I have on there.

Yeah, I went from a 32lb GT Performer to a 22lb Challenger. Then I broke the handlebars and bent the rims. The eventual setup after replacing the broken parts with heavier duty ones was probably around 28lbs. I loved that bike, but couldn't justify keeping something that I never rode anymore.

I've been in the bike business long enough to see BMX bikes go from 20-22ish pounds to 35+ pounds then back down to 20-22ish pounds. (And also also handlebars go from 8+inches tall down to 6 inches, and then back to 8+ inches.) It also has a lot to do with the kinds of tricks riders are doing. Fifteen or twenty years ago it was all about finding the biggest gap, or hitting the biggest jump, or building the biggest ramp, but in the last ten or so years, riders who were really pushing the sport were more tech type guys, like trying tom figure out how many different ways a grind can be done on a handrail.

The horror.
That's why I only throw many different companies plastic, because where it's from should matter. Murica! I even used to live in Rancho Cucamonga.....
Somehow I only like discs that work for me.

Oh wait, this is trolling. There was going to be some more useful information in this thread.....
*steps aside*

I always rode a Standard, and always rode Slams. With a Redneck. Or Challenger.

No pegs. I was a big trick, spin, transfer, air, gap and wallride guy.

Anyone remember the early Props Road Fools? Hank William's old tour bus? Buck Chocolate to the back of your neck?

Jimmy Levans Austin Church Gap?

Or how about BACO?

Now that was a team. Trilogy.

I have every Road Fools on mt computer. The one with Jay Moron on the bus was my favorite.

The Canadian Beast.

The Euro Fools was amazing. Shark Fin.

I learned 5 wallrides and whip wallrides because of Ruben.

Don't even get me started on Terrible One.

Also a great Team model.

I don't remember the specifics of the incident he's talking about now (I do remember a Buzzz vs. Truth thread), but I don't understand why people think that a fan page for one particular brand would want people recommending discs from other manufacturers on their page.

It's like going to the Coke FB page, touting Pepsi and getting removed, and then crying about the lack of open-mindedness on the part of Coke.

This guy.

How has nobody mentioned that this is taking money out of our country. Buying foreign plastic. USA. USA

This countries obsession with giving celebrities/groups nicknames is really annoying.

So are the fans of "trilogy" going to be called "trilogets"?

What about the fans of the fans?

Wont' someone think of the children?

Unless you are talking about "trilogeties", you know, children of fans of "Trilogy". Then forget about them.

I have them on VHS and DVD!

One word...AGGROMAN !

I have my original VHS copy with the original snap close black case.

That video changed my perception of BMX. That was the first video that showed/introduced me and my friends to what "street riding" was about.

Now the on topic blurb....TRILOGY LIFE!
