What new discs that came out this year that you think are worthy of giving a shot?

Newest disc to make my bag is the Slab, but the new Gatekeeper is trying to earn a spot really hard.

For me it was the Vandal and Raider. Vandal is the perfect amount of control and speed. Raider kicked out my D2s because they're far easier to get a consistent grip on and I like trilogy plastic. The Raider is just the DD version of the D2, Destroyer, Outlaw, etc so for me it came down to the plastic and feel of the mold versus the D2s I was bagging.

Raider has taken a spot. I thought I was set on gatekeeper too but I've flipped it unexpectedly a couple time recently.

The H4v2 is putting up a fight to stay in mine. I wasn't really looking for anything between my D4 and F5 but it is just so controllable it might make the cut.

Not sure exactly when it came out, but the Patrol was a very recent Trilogy Challenge mold, and I'm bagging it now. Also, this year's Jen Allen CG Teebird and Hannah Leatherman CG Leo3 are in the bag, and very worthy discs. <3

Oddly, I don't think I've tried a single "new release" mold this year. Quite a few from last year in the bag though (Getaway, Ballista Pro, PDx stock release). Considering I'm a constant tinkerer, I'm kind of shocked that I haven't even bought a single new release much less bagged one. Huh.

I was gifted a Corvette by a friend of mine (PDGA #100) and thought it was destined to find its way into storage. After throwing it a bunch on second shots and field work I've taken a liking to it. I don't know how long it'll stay in the bag, but it's there for now. Faster Shryke is a good description.

Temped to pickup a DD3, but been salty toward DM for their glamour/hype releases lately.

DM is making good discs including what is coming from Latitude 64 at least they look good. It was the marketing that was overdone for the company having the Latitude and Yikun disc partnership. The hype for Discmania getting its own warehouse to store the discs was a big change in the Disc Golf companies in the disc side of things. Now people do not have to wait as long for disc from Innova factory to be making Discs for the Innova made Discmania discs. When inventory for Discmania is getting on the lower side then DM can let Innova know and not have to wait for with other Innova production to be making disc golf discs as Discmania did not have as much storage at Innova as they do now.

The new discs in my bag are the KONG, LUNA and SOL.. . 100% sure the SOL is there to stay, not so sure about the other two.

The SOL is just the most controllable US mid i have tryed, and i have tryed MANY different US mids. . so many

Royal Rage FD2 - took only a few days to secure a spot and a confident one at that. So far nothing else new.

My distance drivers are pretty set, the DD3 will have to work wonders to get in there. It throws very well tho, so if I didnt have anything spectacular in that slot it would be an instant shoe-in. But so far the glow PD2s are doing so much work and then if I want more distance the Rampages have the DD3s beat, for me at least.
