I'm looking to possibly fill a hole in my bag. I'm trying to find a disc that when thrown hard and flat (rhbh) , will go straight quite a ways, but slowly start drifting right, and with as little amount of fade as possible at the end. I don't want drastic turn either, but something very subtle.
I currently have a Fury in my bag for shots like this, but being a speed 9, I think it's a little too squirrely for what I'm after. It'll either turn too hard and sometimes burn into the ground, or if I put too much hyzer on it, it will exhibit too much fade at the end of its flight.
I'm thinking something slower like a speed 7 will be less prone to fading as much at the end of its flight, and if it has more integrity than a Fury, I can get a more subtle and long turn out of it.
Unfortunately I'm not too comfortable power gripping speed 6 discs, so I don't think they're in consideration. My Fuse flies very much like the flight pattern I desire, but I want something longer/faster than it that I can rip on harder.
Am I chasing a unicorn here? Is there such a disc out there, or am I stuck with midranges for this type of flight?
Also, if it helps, at my current arm speed I hyzer flip a Star Mirage about 270 feet, throw a TL3 straight to slight finish for around 300 feet, an Anax about 320, and Ballista Pro about 350.
