Does anyone remember how many reviews it took you to get gold? I think I got my gold TR at around 75 reviews, which seems like a lowish total but am over 150 now and still well short on uniques.

Like 2 more and I'll be at my heaviest review number in a year though.

I went back in my texts with Pevio, he took 87 reviews.
Yeah the new Diamond number is correct for sure or else I would have it already.
I'm sure on the number of uniques, but not sure on the review/total vote counts... mostly because that's not usually the thing holding people back haha.

It'd be nice if some of this current info was posted somewhere...

Monocacy is, for sure, a diamond trusted dog friendly course reviewer. ;)

Red dog does work though.

I think I was 78 when I hit 1,000, but took until about 87 to get the uniques. Tyler V (formerly J) was super quick.
Yeah Tyler must have had some heavy hitter courses early.

Rollin Ridge/Flip City really helped me get going and add numbers.
I got to 1,000 thumbs on my 75th review. The uniques, as well as the overall count, benefitted from a few early reviews back in 2010, but I did get some bigger courses that helped my overall thumb count in those first 75. Idlewild, Lincoln Ridge, Mt. Airy Forest, Harmony Bends, and Eagles Crossing currently account for 156 thumbs up for just 5 reviews, not to mention more known local courses like JB, Creve Coeur Lake, and New Melle getting 20+. I lucked out being able to hit some of those bigger courses soon after starting up reviewing.

Those early reviews are also the only reason I was able to get 90 unique thumbs by my 35th review. Otherwise it would have taken closer to 60-62 reviews when I got to Harmony Bends and Eagles.

Though never officially in the CZ Club (on account of him being short on thumbs, not uniques), @jaymon1 has ascended to Diamond TR status.

We of the Cubic Zirconia Club salute him and his achievement.

I think I got a decent amount of uniques on the reviews I wrote in 2013. I do think some of my reviews benefited from when updated reviews would jump up the page of reviews, so some of my earlier reviews, that I updated after small redesigns got noticed by newer eyes.

I made a sheet a couple of weeks ago with some stats from CZ members on it. Updated it today, to see the difference. A few reviewers have earned a couple of new uniques in the past two or so weeks. There are a couple of Gold TR on there who are near the Diamond/CZ cutoffs also.

davetherocketguy and superberry need to come join us soon.

Wow, Blake and I have shockingly close stats. Which is fun despite playing less than 10% of the same courses.

Also funny considering your most active review periods haven't overlapped much. I feel like *when you dropped the most reviews has more to do with your thumbs than *what courses you played or other factors.

BTW hi everybody, pleased to finally notice the existence of this thread as I have been MIA for a while!

This. I could play every top 10 course (which is starting to be something I'm kind of angling for) and I can almost guarantee it would only be worth a few uniques.

And welcome to the official thread of the club!!

I've went and gave some thumbs up just in case but pretty sure everyone in the club has a unique from me. If not let me know and I'll find a review I agree with and give you a thumbs up. ;)

That is true, his highest numbers are in between my two higher course bagging periods.

Good to have you back Shaddy. Hit me up if your ever back in town, we have a few new courses since you left.

Just vote my most recent review anyway 😜

My uniques count has been stuck at 225 for a few weeks - seems like the wave of newbies I was seeing has crested...

On the bright side, I'm closing in on 4 carat zirconia. So I've got that going for me...which is nice.
That's a whole lot of reviews to be stuck in CZ, may your ascendance be immanent.

So how does this unique vote thing work?

If me, Moose, and HyooMac voted for your review, you would have 3 uniques. If we all voted for your next review, you would have 6 upvotes, but still only 3 uniques.

You need 250 uniques for Diamond. Which is what we in the club are all chasing having already hit the 1,000 upvote requirement.
