Here's one I did for a local brewery opening this week. I did it on a ESP Zone.

Made the general star area just a shade or two too dark

I f-ing love that plastic. I just got some Flow's and have some Halo's and Core's coming soon. I can't wait to dye it. Some of it I'm leaving alone because I love the plastic.

OK. So it's my eighth try at dying, and I'm learning a lot as I go, with much thanks to the tutorials, comments and posts offered here and elsewhere. Generous posters are too many to name.

The Miyagi dye was a gift to my favorite bartender, whom I've only coerced to play with once. He is of half Filipino descent--asian eyes and tall, gets all the ladies, decent ball golfer--, and he demanded all my yellow discs, claiming to be "Team Yellow". He threw an 81 that day, but birdied two holes on a demanding course. A natch, waiting to hatch.

I thought it was worth an Xmas nudge to remind him to keep playing disc golf.

He really liked the disc.

Specs

Con-Tact brand shelf liner, swively exacto. Graphic purloined from the web, modified in Paint. Slightly over-pigmented cup of RIT Black, 3M blue painter's tape for Delicate Surfaces as transfer. Cold running water wash mid-dye for check, and at the end of 30 min. of mildly heated stove-top immersion. Release of mask was EZ.

The cut and weed was significant time, but the deep original stamp was not as much an issue as I thought it might be. Plenty of time spent pressing down cut edges with a card. Small islands require extra attention.
