I think a big part of Flip's being rated a 5 by most people is the experience. Flip is probably the greatest glow course I can think of, and Bill is such a great guy.

Also, I totally agree about Grey Fox's positions, the longs for that course are sooo much better than the shorts. Tbh, if I could only play the short positions, I wouldn't particularly enjoy it I don't think. It would still be a good course, but nothing special.

Wow, that says a lot right there for being in the top 16 out of that many courses. What would you say your top 3 are?

Flyboy, Blueberry Hill, Flip by my personal system which is really a rating of how much I want to go back and play the course. Just on pure course design, the top two would stay but Flip would move down a little.

So I am thinking about running a random draw doubles tournament (pro and am pairings) at Lemon Lake in July possibly for mostly the DGCR crew and whoever else wants to play. This is just some basic information as far as setup and funding. I am thinking two rounds, individual scores on red/blue and best shot on silver. We will break for lunch in between the rounds. Cost would be $15 and the breakdown is as such. $8 goes to final payout (top third or deeper depending on the turnout), $2 goes to the ace pool, $2 goes to a ctp hole (direct cash so no crappy disc you won't throw) and $3 goes to a players party afterwards to cover the food. I am thinking at my place because there is a pool.

I sm just trying to get a feel for if you would be down for this or not, if we get a lot of interest we may have to change some of this around to accommodate the numbers, but more people is more money and more fun! Also I will try to find other donations for ct.'s as well.

Count me in on this!!!

Count me in!

Also, gonna get a round or two in at channahon today once I get outta school, should be there around 4 if anyone wants to join me.

Id like to play, but ill have to pass on this one. I'm with my daughter all day till 8. I also need to go get myself a golf umbrella in case it is going to rain all day tomorrow.

i spent some decent $$ and got myself some rain gear. they say if anything its going to rain a bit in the morning. not going to be an all day thing

40-50% chance of rain until about 1 and then the chance of rain drops down

Sounds like fun, I'd be in if I'm around.

I'll be out at channy today too, some time between 4 and 5 depending on how quick Ashleigh and I can get out of work.
