I don't see anything crazy happening. I'm sure I'll pick up some new toys at some point, but my throw still has room to grow into the Beasts, and...
Gateway Chief is the correct answer. Starts out dead straight and quickly beats into a hyzerflip-to-turnover machine. Low profile feels amazing in the hand, can glide for a while.
Edit--I should mention the Chief feels remarkably similar to the Colt (Chief came first...), but the Chief will...
I still can't throw a great hyzer flip, but the Gateway Chief (specifically in Soft plastic), is teaching me how to do it and trust the flight. Wonderful RHBH flip to right with a subtle fade left at the end.

Nice! I have the Avery Jenkins A&G card from 2009. He signed it in the mail for me. I'll have to get McBeth as well.

Can't wait to try the new plastics. I'm glad I am from St. Louis and have had plenty of opportunities to try out the products that not everyone knows about (Demon, Warrior, Chief, Chief OS, Blaze, etc.). I'll stop by the shop when I'm in town next month and see what Diamond and Platinum are all...
My Evo is seeming to lose LSS. Been in the bag for over a year, and I don't expect it to turn over on me unless there is a headwind. But the right to left fade is less extreme than it was when I first bagged it. Great disc.

My bag is all Gateway for the midranges and putters.
Demon, Warrior, Element, Chief OS, Chief. All of them are incredible discs. And Evolution beats in perfectly.

Try Not to Hit Someone
- 18 hole course north of Seattle
- Good variety of shots required
- Pretty trees scattered throughout
- Open field in the middle of the course good for playing catch or warming up (though in 5's fairway)
- Dangerous course design (see "Other Thoughts")
- Lengthy walks...
I'd recommend using 5 discs to cover all your shots for a while. An overstable utility disc, a stable fairway driver, an understable fairway drive, a straight or stable mid, and a neutral putter.
If you learn to throw those 5 types of discs for all types of shots (BH, FH, hyzer, anhyzer...

Gateway Element. I never really used midranges until adding a 174g glow Element to my bag. Not very flippy, goes dead straight with the slightest bit of hyzer, and holes a gradual right turn when released flat or with anhyzer. I have since added a 178g Evo Element that is a touch more stable...
