I've been convinced since I acquired a board flat Superglow (I think) Proto 53 that it was molded for my hands specifically. It has a stupendous feel. Warrior top, unknown beaded bottom (similar to the Warrior with a deeper core, much better for my power grip). Found out last week that Full Turn picked up the mold and is selling it as the Beacon. Still manufactured by Gateway. Since I didn't actually bag the Proto 53 because I didn't want to fall in love with a disc I couldn't replenish, this was music to my eyes. Pounced on two immediately, one in base plastic (Ground), and one in premium (Diamond/Platinum blend called Priority).

They arrived today. Ground Beacon at 174g and board flat just like the Proto 53 and the Priority Beacon at 184g with the poppiest of all pop tops. I imagine the Ground flies similarly to the Proto 53 (kinda a Caimany flight) but I have no idea how it will beat in and I have no idea how a 184g pop top Beacon will fly.

Anyone have experience with the Beacon or Proto 53? Would love to hear about any experience with it in various plastics, weights, stages of wear and/or what its similar to. Would love to find more feels like this...
