I set out to do the same thing as OP and it sounds like we have similar power. I've landed on the legacy cannon but in icon plastic. It holds it turn but still flattens out and comes back. Get it in 167-169. Good weight.

Also I have a 171 king. Maybe yours was flippy because it was a lighter one?

Could try the Gateway Slayer in Evo HPP, feels like a destroyer in the hand but is more like a -2/2 in terms of stability instead of -1/3 like your destroyer.
