List your top 5 favorite courses

Bucksnort (CO)
Warwick (NY)
Nockamixon (PA)
Whistler's Bend (OR)
Waller Mill (VA)

sort of in order, but really every course I favorite (about 10% of all played) could take the top few spots

5. Flip

Honorable mentions to Harmony Bends, Whistler's Bend, and Deer Lakes.

Kind of like having kids, can't really pick a favorite so here is my five I most look forward to playing again.

* Kensington Toboggan (Milford, MI)
* Flip City (Shelby, MI)
* Deer Lakes (Tarentum, PA)
* Beaver Ranch (Conifer, CO)
* Peter Pan (Emporia, KS)

And four more that were right at that cut line... Blue Ribbon Pines (MN), Water Works (MO), Canyons (IL), New Quarter Park (VA). Having only been as far West as Colorado I have a lot more course bagging to do.

After my official PA trip time to make a slight adjustment to my Top 5.

* Kensington Toboggan (Milford, MI)
* Moraine State Park (Portersville, PA)
* Flip City (Shelby, MI)
* Beaver Ranch (Conifer, CO)
* Blue Ribbon Pines (East Bethel, MN)

Just barely on the outside looking in... Deer Lakes (PA), The Canyons (IL), Peter Pan (KS), Water Works (MO) and Pine Hills (MI). Looking at an official Kentucky DG trip next year, driving from Michigan brings Idlewild and Mt Airy into play as well.

Don't sleep on Lincoln Ridge/Banklick and Osage Grove in the Cincy metro area.

Havent put out my yearly course suggestion thread (Vacation section) yet, but I have started a new Word doc and included your recommendations above. Thanks! :thmbup:

I have to update my favorite courses on here. Now that I have three kids and my travel is way more restricted, gotta make my favorites the courses I can actually play once in a while. Also, former home courses / courses with a high sentimental value get a higher weighting factor. So... Current 5 favorites from a (former bagging AM1 / crappy MPO) Dad with a super busy life but a deep appreciation for any time spent playing disc.
1. Independence Lake, Whitmore Lake, MI
2. Lakewood Park, Tecumseh, ON
3. Kensington South, Milford, MI
4. Hudson Mills Original, Dexter, MI
5. Rolling Hills, Ypsilanti, MI

Going strictly off how the course plays and not necessarily amenities available:
1. Harmony Bends
2. Maple Hill
3. Rollin' Ridge
4. Beaver Ranch
5. Wild Cat Bluffs

If going off of total courses available and amenities onsite as a destination:
1. Rollin Ridge
2. Highbridge Hills
3. Smuggs
4. Maple Hill
5. Blue Ribbon Pines

As of 110 courses played in 7 states in 3 years:

1. Mayflower Hills - Roanoke, VA
2. Panther Creek SP - Morristown, TN
3. Nevin - Charlotte, NC
4. Quaker's Challenge - Lewisberry, PA (new for 2019, thanks to Am Worlds)
5. Rock Ridge - Pittsboro, NC

Not sure how we feel about temp courses for lists like this, but if eligible I'd put Forest Hills (Durham, NC) up to the 3rd slot.

Top of the within-striking-distance wishlist: Ashe County (NC), Harmon Hills (TN), IDGC (GA)

This is my current top 5, but I hope it changes within the next year or two as I'd like to visit IDGC, mountain courses in WNC and Eastern TN, and the Northeast. Until then...

1. Rolling Pines - Wilkesboro, NC
2. Indian Creek - Huntsville, AL (heard it got hit by a storm since I played it, unfortunately)
3. Nevin - Charlotte, NC
4. Hornets Nest - Charlotte, NC
5. Rockness Monster - Roxboro, NC

Honorable mentions:
Fox Chase - Albemarle, NC
Robbins - Cornelius, NC
Circle C - Austin, TX
Rock Ridge - Pittsboro, NC
Trophy Lakes - James Island, SC

1) Sabattus Eagle (Hawk is also great)
2) Selah Ranch - Lakeside
3) Flyboy Aviation
4) Hobbs Farm
5) Granite Ridge
