I tried a lot of new discs in 2017 but overall didn't change much. Still trusting many of the same molds.

FH & BH 50/50

BH Distances

Wizard - Up to 260
EMAC Truth - Up to 320
FD - Up to 350
PD - Up to 370
D2 - 400 Controlled/ Max 425

FH Distances
Harp - Up to 200
Justice - Up to 240
Ahti - 250-320
D1 - 320-350

Putting - Blend Judges

Wizard - Fossil x2
Harp - Hard and Medium
EMAC Truth - Moonshine, Lucid x2
Justice - Lucid
FD - C Line x2 (2nd & 3rd runs), G Line
Ahti - VIP x2
PD - 8th run C Line, Pat # S line
D4 - 400
D2 - 400G x3
D1 - 400G, 400 x2

I got a convict, Marshall, and slammer to try out but this set up is pretty good for me.

Going to play a round tomorrow.
Rocking the following:

Blend Judges x2 (putting)
Prime Judge (upshots)
Fossil Wizards x2 (BH line holders)
Hard and VIP Harp (FH & BH that need more fade and FH upshots)

ESP Meteor (hyzerflip to turn and annys)
Lucid EMAC Truth x2 (hold any line)
Z Buzzz OS x2 (more fade FH and BH)

Tournament Hatchet (hyzerflip to turn and rollers)
S Line and G Line FD (straight and slight turn)
S Line PD x2 (FH and BH small fade)
C Line PD (more fade than S Line)
Opto and Gold XXX (FH & BH hyzers, flex shots, overhands, FH rollers)

400G D2 x3 (All distance lines BH)
400 D1 x2 (Distance FH)
400G D1(more fade than 400 plastic)

Hoping the meteor is slightly more understable than my 400G M4. Back to the XXX. The Ahti seems to be too similar to the C line PD. The PD and XXX compliment each other very well. Dropped the 2nd run FD out of the bag for now, going to throw the PD more and see how it goes.

Going to play today one round with a full cart (28 discs) of the following:

Judge - Blend x2 & Prime
Wizard - Fossil x3
Harp - VIP, Hard, & Medium
M4 - 400G
EMAC Truth - Moonshine & Lucid x2
Verdict - Fuzion
XXX - Opto and Gold
FD - 2nd run, Swirly S line, and G line
PD - 8th C Line, Pat # S Line, and S Line
D4 - 400G
D2 - 400G x2
D1 - 400 x2 & 400G

2nd round will be lighter (18 discs) on the same course

Judge - Blend x2
Wizard - Fossil x2
Harp - VIP & Hard
EMAC Truth - Lucid x2
XXX - Opto and Gold
FD - Swirly S Line and G Line
PD - Pat # S Line and S Line
D2 - 400G x2
D1 - 400G & 400

I am interested to see which scores better. The second is my core bag of the discs I throw the most, and the first has some additional discs for when there is more wind or discs I need on specific courses.

you realize how stupid this is right?

Just cuz he doesn't throw a volt (or three)?

I don't think it's stupid [IMO]. I feel like several DGCR members discuss this exact topic; if you limit options, maybe you limit mistakes.

I think, statistically speaking, comparing one round to one round creates no deviation, so you gotta repeat this a few times! I'd suggest 4 times (4 different days) alternating what set up you throw your first round with (2 full, 2 minimal).

Now I want to do this. Haha. B15 set up vs Crunch Box set up.. hmmm

FWIW: Like the bag!

youre not this stupid... i think you can figure it out... (well maybe not apparently lol)

Played a good round of -7 with a couple bogies yesterday rocking the following molds:

Judge - Blend for putting
Wizard
Zone
M4
EMac Truth
Verdict
XXX
FD
PD
D3
D2
D1

Bag felt very good. Still need to figure out if I need the D3 or D4 in the bag.

The pat number is slightly more overstable overall when new. I found it to have a bit more fade and absolutely no wiggle in the HSS portion of the flight, where the S Line can wiggle slightly.

What is beautiful about the pat number is the way it beats in. I have had my current one in the bag for six years. It is still very high speed stable, but the fade has beaten out. Very reliably straight. I love it for wooded forehand shots.

I really only carry the new S Line when I play a course by my house, that has a river next to the basket. And I don't want to lose my pat number.

I've thrown a lot of plastic over the years and I think your bag is pretty solid.

Shot a round of -8 today with 10 deuces, 2 bogey 4s, and 2 pars on the par fours :/

I threw the following during the round:

Blend Judge (Putting)
Fossil Wizard
Zone
EMAC Truth
Verdict (only once, should have been an EMAC)
XXX
PD
D4 (only once, should have been a D2)
D2
D1

Rocking the following in my cart:

Core Molds:

Judge - Blend x2 (putting)
Judge - Prime (BH upshots)

Wizard - Fossil x2 (BH putter drives, slightly OS, Straight, slightly US)

Harp - VIP, Hard, Med (OS/Slightly OS ups, drives FH/BH,)

EMAC Truth - Lucid x2 (Straight, holds lines)
EMAC Truth - Moonshine (Slightly OS, small flex BH)

XXX - Gold, Opto (OS FH/BH)

FD - 2nd run C Line, Swirly S Line, G Line (All FW BH, Straight to fade, straight, anhyzer, hyzerflip to straight)

PD - Pat # S, S Line, C Line (FH/BH Straight/Fade)

D2 - 400G x3 (Most BH Distance Drives)

D1 - 400G & 400 x2 (FH & OS BH DD)

Utility:

M4 - 400G (Hyzerflip to straight, slightly US, anhyzers)
M4 - 300S (Hyzerflip to turn, anhyzers, rollers)

Hatchet - Tournament (Hyzerflip to turn, anhyzers, rollers)

D4 - 400G - (Hyzerflip to straight/turn, slightly US, anhyzers, rollers)

Course/Wind Necessary:

Verdict - Lucid (basically the same as the Moonshine EMAC, if I want a backup)

Verdict - Fuzion (hyzer disc between the Harp, EMAC, XXX, and FD) Very situational. I have barely reached for it in years.

Justice - Lucid (Again very close to VIP Harp and XXX) Barely use. Very course/hole specific. Mainly FH skip shots that the XXX may be too fast for.

Threw the following molds today:

Judge
Envy
Zone
EMAC Truth
XXX
PD
Hatchet
D2
D1

Enjoyed the Envy. Nice flyer FH and BH. Fast for a putter. I can see it being tough to range. Doesn't hold a turnover as well as my fossil wizard. Might have to beat in a prime judge for turnover putter shots

I throw the first four discs listed above. I've been trying a Lucid Judge in the Envy spot but the Envy is so darn comfortable in a power grip (FH too for the matter).

A beat in Envy will turn into a very straight flyer. It doesn't necessarily turn (although I've had one or two that had a tight S flight). I'm not a big hyzer flipper, especially short range, so my beat N Envy fills a good straight/line manipulating Disc with little to no fade.

And once you learn how to range an Envy, it's such a great Disc. It's fast, yes, but the glide (I feel) isn't as much as a judge or wizard.

Could try an electron to get it beat in quicker! Nice bag though!
