Anyone have any info on format of rounds and what not? Shotgun start? 18 or 22 rounds?

I was going to play this, so I could qualify for worlds. But it's bad weekend for me sadly. I love that course, some year ill have to play that tourney.

Saturday: 1 round of 27 holes (most holes will likely be in the long position).
Sunday: Another round of 27.

The 27 holes will be the 22 permanent holes + 5 temp holes. There's still some discussion about using the long tees for holes 5 and 6.

That's all I know.

Bummer. I was hoping they were going to follow last year's layout.. Three rounds with each round getting longer and tougher. Seemed like a lot of work though, lots of pins were moved each round!

I like the new format, but I'm not a fan of multiple rounds per day on long courses. Last year's final round lasted 5-6 hours- too long imo.
