Baskets - Great to see Mach V's being used in the UK. I've not come across them before. They are so forgiving as they don't have the large metal strip around the top of the basket so, any high putts still drop into the tray.

Navigation - I found it very difficult to navigate around the course. Especially holes 1-3. This isn't helped by the tee posts, which have been put in at seemlingly random angles. I also found that when you finish hole 4, you then walk the length of the hole 5 to then play back the other way.

A 6 hole, par 3 course (with a practice hole) in a public park. Really nice to see a local council trying something new and different.

Hole 1 - A short hole which plays into a thicket of trees. No obvious line to take to avoid the trees, making route choice interesting

Hole 2 - Tee off from the large tree stump (shown in picture), a straight tee shot is needed to avoid both the thicket of trees on hole 1 and to thread the needle of pine trees near the basket.

Hole 3 - Another short hole, again played into a thicket of trees. This time though the basket is openly viewable and so can be fully attacked. Lots of wild garlic around the basket can make locating your disc difficult

Hole 4 - Elevated tee, playing across the grass to the woodland edge. The water in my photo is only there after rain, so needs to be played as a casual OB. The tee pad slopes downwards so watch your footing.

*Walking route to hole 5* As you finish hole 4, you will see the basket to hole 5 on your right. Look to the distance and you will see a beech tree leaning over to the right. The tee for hole 5 is here.

Hole 5 - A slight uphill hole, playing pack to 3 pine trees. No real obstacles in play.

Hole 6 - A deceptive hole to finish, with a low ceiling at the basket thanks to all the hanging branches. the hole is well set with the lake down to your left (although this shouldn't come into play). Watch out for the play area on your right.
