Pros:
The course is more stuck in The Twilight Zone. The design is out of this world. And probably not in the good way.
Everything here is Alberton feels like it's still in the 1940's. Most all of the houses, the grocery store, the charming little library and all the playground equipment, too. I guess the course starts somewhere around the ultramodern skateboard park. You then throw to the # 1 basket which is also the # 9 basket. If you're lucky you may stumble across the little paver which is buried in the lovely, long, lush, green grass here. Now throw to the # 2 basket which is also the # 8 basket. 3 and 7 share the same basket and 4 and also share another basket. # 5 basket at the far side of the 1940's ball field serves only as the # 5 basket.
There is no map but each of the DGA Mach 5 baskets has a number plate. However, four of these have numbers on both side of the plate. It's actually not as confusing as I just explained it. The most confusing aspect of this course is trying to locate the tiny little pavers in this lush grass.
The course has several holes where a roller will serve you well. The trees are a lot easier to roll under than throw through.
Cons:
Some funky design.
Lack of signage.
No tee pads.
Chance of discs landing in someone's backyard or maybe on I-90.
Charming little library, though.
Other Thoughts:
This is another of those, "If I lived here, I'd play it" courses. There are five other courses within 23 miles. I don't know if they're any better. So I'm not sure if I lived here, I'd play it. That statement might be total Bull Snot.
